From SIligury the journey to Darjeeling can be either by road or rail. If travelling by bus the travel is about 80 kms and takes about 3 hours. You can engage a smaller private vehicle which takes a shorter route and the distance is reduced by about 15 kms.
The toy train journey can be taken if you ae not in a hurry as it takes about 8 hours. All through the journey till Darjeeling, the rail line crosses the road almost hundred times. |
