Had gone to Darjeeling recently. Being a great tea lover went to this place called Nathmulls Tea Cosy at the Rink Mall opposite the historic asnd heritage General Post Office. The atmosphere of the place was real cool, the hostesses very polite and welcoming and the teas served... awesome. Had no choice but to buy several kinds. Enjoying each variety as all are really marvellous. What a selection. They even have a website www.nathmulls.in I'm glad I am able to share my feelings with youFood, sight-seeing and shopping
well there are not very many but the momos at some places are ..... ioopppppppps

walking, trekking.... this is where the real fun lies Travel tips, How to reach, travel warnings etc.
the Himalayas and greenery all around is simply majestic . . . .the estates . . .vow !! Heavenly ... !! | |

 guide me | | i m coming on 28th Nov.08 for 3 days with my parents to visit Darjeeling.
can any one guide me for:
1.what are the traosport facility from Bagdogra airport to Darjeeling?
2. best local area to stay (range 500-1200/-)from the facility(transport/food) assebility point opf view?
3. best way for site seeing.( hiring a cab or sharing taxi??)

i am planning for a visit to darjeeling end dec ( 27dec to 8 jan)
but my family is reluctant , it seems the climate would be pretty bad.
as we will live in mumbai.
darjeeling might get pretty chill.
