Ladakh (Leh) Experience: If you are a lover of nature then you can find that in Ladakh each mountain is different from other not only in shape and size but also in colour. Ladakh is full of monastries. Alchi, Thiksey and hemis monastries, Stok Palace Museum are worth visiting. One should not forget to visit Nubra valley and the double hump camel. I personally like Tsomoriri lake more than the Pangong lake. One can enjoy Ox ride near Pangong lake.

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: In Ladakh you can have traditional food as well as modern North Indian food in almost all restaurants. Ladakhi bakeries are really good. One should purchase ladakhi mask and local jewellery.

Travel tips, How to reach, travel warnings etc: The road from Kashmir to Leh is much better than road from Manali to Leh. However, be careful to carry some food stuffs and water along with you while travelling.
