You can specially book a Cab so that you can customize the tour visit. You can also get ample time to stay at sigth you love. Again many Mini buses charging 200 to 250 per person are also available which you can book locally or asking Hotel person to book where you have taken halt. The local numbers are available with the Hotel people anyway. But I suggest to go by private vehicle if you want to really enjoy

Activities & things to do: Lost of activities can be done as lots of places are worth visiting. Honeymoon couples will also enjoy the Ooty Lake ride. Again Dodabetta peak, 7 mile are worth visting. If you like photography here is chance to explore your skills as you will get lots of natural avenues to catch it in your camera. Even if not than atleast you can make a great family album :) But if you really want to be near to nature that summer time is the season time worth visiting. For Honeymoon couples cooler is the better :)

Travel tips, How to reach, travel warnings etc: The main destination near Ooty is Coimbatore. You can reach their by Road, Train or by Flight. Once to reach Coimbatore you can hire a rickshaw or a Cab to Ooty which is a bit costly option. They may charge nearly 3 to 5 thousand depending upon the vehicle type. Also the other cheap option is hire a vehicle till Main railway stand which 5 Kms from Coimbatore Railway station. And then you can board a Bus which charges you between Rs: 150 to 170 per person. The Other Good Option is that you can go to Ooty by Toy Train but for that you need to book the Train before from IRCTC site. The Train actually starts from Mettuplayam Station till Ooty so need to arrange a transport facility from Coimbatore till Mettupalyam first. And also the Toy train is in Morning so difficult to catch. But it will really give you the beutifull glimpse of Ooty.
