"An elevating experience that brings out the child in us onto the lap of mother nature."

Wayanad: The resort a good three hours away from kozhikode. The place itself was so beautiful that we ended up spending all the time in the beautiful resort without exploring much. A place which is there on our revisit list always.
Munnar: She was like a beautifully decked up princess of tea valleys all round the year waiting for the prince charming to fall for her. A small trek on the unexplored hill behind our hotel allowed to witness a beautiful sunset. She is hot and humid in the day and turns cool as ice the moment sun begins his downward journey during the latter part of the day. She turns unbearably cold at nights. Any stroll during nights mean you are covered from head to toe during summers too.
Alleppey: A home to one of most celebrated inland lakes - Vembanad. A shikkari sunrise ride was the most colourful and celebratory scene at the wee hours. Every house on the lake opened to their biggest swimming pool as they stepped out of the house. Water scarcity that dreads every city now is something thats unknown to them. A morning here could become a documentary for a simplistic and peaceful lifestyle that most of us crave for.

Keep necessary things handy and explore the backwaters of Venice of the east on a cruise. No worries at all. People are so loving and heartwarming. Feels like at home.
