Located in Kamshet, this place called the L'attitude. Its basically a homestay in an awesomely huge & beautiful property. Situated close to a lake, its surrounded by farm lands and has a lotus pond within its premises ..

"Kamshet - Sudden Trip"

  • 5.0/7
  • Posted Aug 31, 2016
A lazy evening, we decided to have a sudden trip to Kamshet. Amazing plan. Beautiful weather, cool breeze, a bike and a never ending road... That's all we needed to make the day special. We reached Kusgaon - Kamshet in an hour or so... And what a view it was... Greenery all around. With waterfall making it even more serene. Totally loved it.

"Sondela - In the middle of nowhere"

  • 7.0/7
  • Posted May 22, 2016
Our group visited Sondela in Kamshet, we had never visit Kamshet before this trip, but I must say this trip will remain in our memory lanes for a long long time. Sondela provides a mesmerizing view to the love lake and mountains in Kamshet, the Bungalow is not surrounded with any other properties and makes you feel in the middle of nowhere & taking you away from the hustle of City life, being on the top of a small hill gives you that very amazing view. The caretakers of Sondela took us trekking into the hills, showed us a small waterfall to play around, it felt like a personalized waterfall created just for us :) took us to the lake and dam, A must visit place.

"Wonderful experience of Paragliding!"

  • 7.0/7
  • Posted Jan 30, 2016
Kamshet is a destination just before Lonawala while travelling from Pune. It is most famous for the adventurous paragliding. We headed for Kamshet on a weekend, Saturday to be more specific, and reached there in hope of getting a chance for paragliding. But it seemed that it needed a pre booking and none of the schools were ready to admit us on the spot. It felt like the trip was going to be in vain, but thanks to the supporting crew of Temple Pilots, we finally got a chance to live an experience worth never forgetting. If you are going with your own vehicle, you have to reach the destination of paragliding by yourself else you are taken by the school itself to the destination. You just have to reach Kamshet. Since there are two to three paragliding spots, we took off at Shelar point which is just above the Pavna dam.

Immediately after you reach the spot you are mesmerized by the scenic view here. Blue water, chill air and the tandems flying all over the sky. We were welcomed by the crew and they talked politely asking and enquiring about us and obviously encourging us to have fun and learn paragliding to the higher level.

Well, I was the first one to go. At first I was nervous as this was the first time I ever was going to be in air. It started off slowly, the guy with me constantly trying to calm me down. For first a minute or so I didn't even open my eyes. But once I felt comfortable, I started enjoying the ride and from above I could see the tops of the mountains and the blue water of Pavana dam. Once we stabilized into the air, the pilot started to do 360 degree rotations in the air at which my heart stopped for a while and I felt like my stomach was empty. But that wasn't all. We came down rapidly and almost kicked our friends standing on the mountain top and that felt just awesome.

Those twenty minutes were the best moments of my life considering the fun I had. Surely an experience worth the price. While coming back, we were so tired that we had to have our dinner on the way and it was Tonny da Dhaba that we chose. Though a bit costly the Dhaba is surely a place to visit just to have a look at the type of birds they are feeding in their hotel.

Just made my day!!!

"Mood relaxing place"

Kamshet is a place to visit again again once in every season you'll feel good. Try to trek at paragliding point or do paragliding. Rates of Paragliding is 3000 when I was there. And try to glide alone after training not with trainer because you will get less time about 15 min. Nice play to enjoy. Kamshet is about 80 km from Pune.
