Food, sight-seeing and shopping: FOOD: Never ever expect you get a great food at Araku. Can only try Bamboo chicken which is famous @ TYDA.. It will not be served all the time..only on availability. APTDC restaurant @ TYDA is better when compared to any other restaurant. When you are in ARAKU APTDC Haritha Restaurant is comfortable but bit costly. SIGHT SEEING: You have TYDA park then you pass on you will get BORRA CAVES from there you can reach ANANTHAGIRI WATER FALLS..which is the most watchable and enjoyable place...Water falls will be on top of hill..need to trek the hill ... water will be in - degrees..Dimsa Tribal Dance and finally Campfire...5kms further we can enjoy Botanical gardens and chaparevu a sliding water flow...Finally Tribal Museum SHOPPING: Opposite to Tribal Museum there is a shop where all Tribal hand made items are sold..bit costly but a unique collection.

Activities & things to do: Go by Train (Kirandol from Vizag 7 am daily) and enjoy tunnels Get down at ARAKU have sight seeing at Botanical gardens and Chaparevu just 5 kms from ARAKU Railway station. By that time it will be evening. Plan for DIMSA Dance and Camp Fire near your accommodation and enjoy foor at Haritha APTDC Next day morning hire a Car and reach BORRA after that visit water falls and enjoy till noon... At 3 pm start back to Vizag..by the way stop at TYDA at 5 pm and have Bamboo Chicken at Tyda (Bongu Chicken).. by Sunday 7 pm you will be in Vizag.

Travel tips, How to reach, travel warnings etc: Always carry clothes which keeps you warm always. You have to start up at Visakhapatnam Railway Station 7 am Kirandol Express..Can reserve your seats through APTDC package (Rail-Road tour). If your seats are not reserved then you may end up in seat less journey..You can enjoy the view with 69 tunnels passing till you reach ARAKu station. If you are with APTDC package they will take care of accommodation food and sight. seeing. There are various packages offered by APTDC starts from Rs 600/- (one day) to 3500/- (two days-week end). Travel Warning: Waterfalls trek is slippery so be care full while reaching there...Even it is advised not to go too much inside Borra..nothing will be there you will get strained.
