"Memorable trip for so many reasons"

  • 6.0/7

I had heard so many things about the famous Ajanta Ellora caves! It was time to finally to explore them. With my intention to only visit the caves, I planned two days and one night at Aurangabad. Which gave me more than enough room to accommodate plenty other spots (mentioned below).

The weather was amazing as it had rained two days prior to our arrival on 12th March, 2017. Of course during day, you can expect the climate to be warm. Anyhow, I would say this the temperature was fine to visit in.

Overall, the trip was amazing because of the beautiful caves, pleasant surprise of the white and Bengal Tiger at Siddharth Zoo, Daulatabad Fort, Lovely Bibi Ka Makbara, thali at Bhoj, hot and crispy samosas and bhajiyas at Gayatri Chaat Bhandar, and a wonderful stay at hotel olive green.

Oh, and if you need to roam around. Hussain, He's been amazing. He knows the areas very well, can plan the whole itinerary for you.. Is very open to going along with the itinerary created by you.. One of the most reasonable rates I found (after doing my and the service is very good. I paid 4100/- for two days - first day included Ajanta, Chhatrapati museum, Aurangabad caves, Sonehri Mahal, Bibi ka Makbara, Panchakki and Siddharth zoo and Kranti chowk to eat. Second day included ellora, Aurangzeb tomb, Daulatabad fort and Kranti chowk to eat. He picked up and dropped us right at the hotel. He also offers to pick you from bus stand till your hotel (even if it's far). He checks up on you before arrival and after your departure from Aurangabad and once again after you reach your city! He patiently spoke to me for 4-5 days helping me out with hotel information, tourist spots and itinerary. He did not rush for time and I enjoyed each spot to my satisfaction before moving onto the next. Each day he dedicated 11 hrs of travelling on average. No extra charge Oh, because I confirmed very late. He sent his brother Aslam in Swift Desire for my travel exploration. And he was just as pleasant as Hussain. A little too on the quieter side. But he said Yes to all my wishes. For example, he took me to gayatri chaat bhandar and Tara paan chat wala (which were not a concrete part of my original exploration). Of course, none of it would be possible without Hussain. He was the mastermind behind everything.

I had been visited grushneshwar, ellora, khultabad - bhadra maruthi and tomb of aurangazeeb, ajanta, bibi ka, panchakki. Missed daulatgiri fort and shivaji museum for want of time. Stayed at hotel admiral suites which was an excellent hotel and value for money option as I booked through makemytrip. Fortunately had a very good taxi driver - mr. Sheikh -9665629188.
