Kovalam Experience: Poovar golden beach is best beach .......i recommended every honeymoon couple should go there for atleast 2-3 hr ....its a different experience .....Golden beach is very clean and beautiful beach with river on one side and sea on other side.....only way to go there by boat through backwaters.....really enjoyed very much.

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: Food in boat restaurant inside lake was good ......must try fish there.

Activities & things to do: Masti at beach in sand then you can take a dip in river fresh water.

Travel tips, How to reach, travel warnings etc: Reach by boat thrgh backwaters from Poovar.....Its not safe to go inside sea not even near it very dangerous looking sea there.
