It is a beautiful waterfall and good photo point. Beyond this it is just another waterfall. It has no water during March-May, infact all waterfalls in munnar are dry this period as they open up the dam shutters. You will find many people stopping on the way to pose for photos. Beware of monkeys on the road, they sometimes snatch things.

"On the way amongst the greenery"

Chinnakanal is about 20kms from Munnar on the way to Thekkady. This waterfall is a halt on the highway to add to your clicks n memories. The gushing white waters are just so tempting. Indeed the creator is just awesome.

"Falls surrounded by the old tall trees"

  • 6.0/7

What a great waterfall it is, and well maintained, Munnar always turns me on with its exotic tourist spots around. Nicely located in the woods surrounded by old tall trees, this waterfall doesn't fail to make a mark in your mind.

The waterfall is located right on the NH going to Thekkady. Small snacks are available on the site. You can also spot great rock formations towards east. One looks exactly like a Sphinx.

"The beautiful waterfalls and the journey is Delightful"

  • 6.0/7

Chinnakanal or Power House waterfall beginning from Devikulam River is located 18 km away from Munnar. The beauty of this waterfall is that the water flows down from a height of over 800m, forming snow-white fall that splashes on rocks and hillocks. The area is surrounded by green mountain ranges and the view from here is breathtaking.
