Srinagar Experience: Filled with wonders like Dal lake, Nigeen lake, Nishat Bag, Shalimar Bag, Chashmeshahi, Tulip garden .... phew the names keep cropping up, Srinagar & Kashmir in general is literally heaven on earth. We spent 7 N/8 D there but could not take in all.
Food, sight-seeing and shopping: Nearby destinations like Sonamarg, Gulmarg & Pahalgam also provide enough food for the senses. Each place provides natural beauty in exceeding order. At Srinagar itself a tour on the Dal Lake in Shikara is an opportunity not to be missed. Also the visit to Char Chinar in the middle of Dal lake should be done during the Shikara ride.
Activities & things to do: During the stay at Srinagar, one must not miss the visits to various holy sites such as Shankaracharya temple, Khir devi & Nishtha Devi temple & Hazaratbal Mosque.
