Jaldapara Experience: Jaldapara Wildlife Sanctuary is one of the few places where you can see the one horned Rhino. It is a beautiful forest with wild range of varied flora and fauna. A must see for Jungle lovers - if you are lucky you can spot Rhinos, Elephants, Sambar, Fishing Owls, Eagles, Horn bills and if you are born lucky you may even spot leopards and the Royal Bengal Tiger.

Travel tips, How to reach, travel warnings etc: Best Option is to take train - both cheap and comfortable, from Sealdah (Kolkata) to Hasimara by Kanchankanya Express.
You can also book a vehicle from Bagdogra Airport to Madarihat.
Always book a Government Tourist Lodge to avail Elephant Ride which is really a wonderful experience.
Keep plenty of mosquito repellents with you. Carry Head Cover - Caps/ Hats in Summer and Winter Caps in Winter. Sunglasses.
Always wear fully covered footwear's - shoes, sneakers (best).
If you are going with kids below 5 years, whenever you are in any safari in any jungle their ears must be covered.
