Vaishno Devi Experience: It is great place where so many people visit spell bound by faith and Mata fullfill their wishes. It is great experience to visit there and do darshan worth all efforts.

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: There are so many Dhabas and Bhojanalayas in Katra, on the way to Bhawan and at Bhawan that food etc will never be any issues. Rajma and Rice is the most famous dish there. There are lots of places to buy Parshad as well. For staying always book Shrine board hotel / lodge at Katra and Bhawan. Otherwise there are many other hotels as well but cleanliness may be an issue there.

Activities & things to do: Not much activities except lot of walking and Mata's Darshan.

Travel tips, How to reach, travel warnings etc: Walking up to Bhawan is always bustling whichever time of day and night you go. The lanes are polluted by Ponies. If you want to take Ponies then they have cartel and they would demand 4-5 times rates set by Shrine board though if you bring in any official then they would say that pony is tired so cannot go. Shrine board is ineffective before their cartel and that is the worst point of the Yatra. Helicopter is good option but many times it does not fly due to clouds and fog.
