"Kala Pani to Untouched Paradise"

  • 7.0/7
  • Posted Nov 20, 2017
India away from India. This place which is away from Mainland India is connected to India by hearts. The place is made holly due to the presence of our country's greatest freedom fighters like Veer Sawarkar. Portblair which was once known as Kala Pani due to the presence of the Historical Cellular Jail is worth visiting. It's capital place of Andaman. Visit to Portblair is a must if you are visiting Andaman. Portblair host's tourist attraction places like Cellular jail, Samudrika museum, The Anthropological Museum, Marina park, watersports complex, Chattam sawmill, etc. From here you can visit nearby islands like Ross, North bay, Havelock, Neil, Red skin, Jolly bouy, chidiyatapu etc. In port Blair you have connectivity for bsnl AIRTEL and Vodafone only. Ensure you carry simply cards of these service providers to avoid any inconvenience.
Every Indian should visit this place to pay homage to all those freedom figheters who have given there lives for our freedom.

"Disconnect from the chaos, embrace true nature!"

  • Posted Oct 20, 2017
Going to Andaman is a journey with a difference. A world which is completely disconnected from the mainland. Network connectivity is also pretty patchy. What's covers up for the connectivity is the breathtaking vistas. One shouldn't miss out on visiting Ross islands and North bay island. Also one should immerse in scuba diving at Neil island. Havelock island is a must visit for all the beaches it has to offer. The cellular jail in Port Blair is a major tourist attraction along with the limestone caves of Baratang. One can also get glimpses of the Jarawa tribe on the way to Baratang alongwith the mud volcanoes which emit mud. One shouldn't miss the Wandoor beach which is perhaps one of the cleanest in India.

Though I am from place with beaches I loved the beaches at the Andaman especially the Radha Nagar beach. The way they had maintained it and the beauty of the nature is just breathtaking.

"India's own Maldives and Mauritius"

Serene Blue Water beaches coupled with English Architecture .. - Such blue green beaches and choice of water activities - Scuba Diving, Snorkeling, Sea walk, Corals sight seeing. Cellular Jail tour and the light and sound show takes you to those torturous times that Indian Freedom Fighters who braved the tortures of the English and Japanese. Port Blair in itself is a very neat and clean city and well maintained
