Kalpa Experience: if you wish to explore the spirit of Himalayas....go kalpa.you can go with your family...even with your old parents....& discover the rugged beauty of Himalaya with cool & comfortable stay.i started journey from shimla......stayed 1st night in sarahan......the bhimkali temple guest house is best hotel to stay.....enjoy the evening puja and dont forget to see the palace.....& the apple garden adjacent to the temple.next morning i left for sangla valley....its a beautiful place surrounded by peaks and decorated by green colored baspa river.dont miss chitkul,the village in INDO-TIBET border....and enjoy the snow balls on river side foresr.next we came kalpa which is 6 kms from reckonpeo.......and we were awe struck by the scenic beauty of peaks....the kailash rock.....the apple garden ....the calm & quiet beauty of the villages & specially .when we experienced the sun set at kalpa...we had experienced the taste of heaven.

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: where ever you go,you will experience the beauty of nature.....the bhimkali temple.(sarahan)baspa river (chitkul)temple in kalpa are added attractions.for shopping,i think,best place is shimla.....you can buy mementos in reckonpeo market.

Activities & things to do: you can stay in nature camp in sangla.walking through kalpa village in sun set evening will be a memorable experience.those who love photography....this will be a dream journey.....be ready for non stop clicking.
