14 km away from Eravikulam we reached the sight of Lakkam water falls. Even though the summer season water is sufficient. We visited on 13th April-2016. Very beautiful place with rock and water. So many tourist took bath under the falls. Kids played in the natural swimming pool. Location is very attractive.

A meager amount collected as entry fee. We liked very much. On the way to the falls both sides of the road fully packed with forest.

Loved this place. Entry fee is very small Rs. 20/- per head. At summer this waterfall doesn't have too much water and hence pulls less crowd. But that is advantage for peace lovers. One can take a bath as well. Bathroom and locker facilities are available. In monsoon the water level increases and it's not safe for bath anymore. Very good place for nature lovers and photographers too.

Very good waterfalls in Munnar, the falls may be visited in day time is good, we can play in waterfalls. The pedal boating in lakes also good to enjoy in Munnar. Tea Gardens and Rose Gardens are beautiful, the greenery looking like green carpet.

A good waterfall to enjoy and best of attraction for everyone. Had a great time spent with my friends there on the way from Marayoor to Munnar. A must visit place.

"Enjoyed a lot but little time"

Nice waterfall opens after 8 am. And ticket price is Rs. 20 and at morning time it might be very difficult to take shower as it is very chill. Time is limited there. We can enjoy a lot. Place is awesome and good looking. Place is too slippery and we are not allowed to go to top of falls.

Lakkam Waterfalls is situated in Lakkam, nearby Vagavurai Estate, on the way to Marayoor from Munnar. It is situated amidst wilderness and it is about a 5 minute drive from Munnar- Marayoor road.

The adjoining Vagavurai valley adds up the beauty of Lakkam Waterfalls making it a perfect place for photography. Vagavurai valley is so named due to the abundance of ‘Vaga’ trees. When the trees are in full bloom the whole of Vagavurai valley is seen covered in bright red.
