Lonar Experience: Lonar is 150 Kms away from Aurangabad by road, I had travelled with my friend by car. Roads are good. The nature created spot is not at all developed by state Govt. We had gone in rainy season and we witnessed heavy soil erosion on the way to crater.The temples on the periphery are breathing their end only. Kamalja mata is a little bit maintained by pujari while all other temples are in state of dismay. Can the tourism dept of state alongwith ASI maintain them?
Food, sight-seeing and shopping: There is nothing to shop.
Activities & things to do: A visit to crater, then temple on the way which has water flowing to crater round the year. It is 1.5 km away from MTDC resort.
Travel tips, How to reach, travel warnings etc: Carry water with you wlile visiting craters as you might feel thirsty while ascending. Preferably go before 9.00AM so that you can come back in the afternoon to have good food at MTDC resort.
