One has to visit either Spiti Valley (the easier option is to go from Simla) or Lahaul Valley to see the beauty of Himalayas. Drive till Rohtang Pass (the most hyped up and sick place to visit) is horrible, one can see lot of plastic waste on either side of the road. But once you cross Rohtang Pass (and the crowd), then the views are awesome (but beware, roads are not as great till you reach Khoksar on the way to Lahaul Valley).

"Traffic Jam all around"

  • 1.0/7

The road infrastructure is so poor and the army mismanaging the roads. Huge traffic Jams are routine during tourist seasons October to June . Solang and Rohtang are choked . Road from Kullu to Manali is broken. You will spend 20 minutes for every 1 km. That means even 10 km will be like more than 2 hrs. Go to some other tourist place. Manali is bad place to spend your precious vacation

"One of the best trips"

Manali was more fun because we were in a group of 7 people and the journey was very adventurous. Its was more than what we expected. We planned for 5 days but endde up being there for 6 days. The journey was never out of budget because we planned in such a way that comfortable and money both would be given prioroties

I stayed with my family from 15 th to 18 th may my family enjoyed stay in this hotel this hotel is on prime location and completely occupied thanks to MMT that my room was booked properly and after service was also provided by said hotel and MMT. I was having small issue of booking extra room which was properly solved by MMT and hotel staff. Hotel staff was helpful to me and my family.

"Chill yourself in Snow"

  • 7.0/7

Coming from an arid region in South India, we found the respite we were searching for desperately at Manali. Just lay back and lose yourself in the lap of nature admiring God's creation. Be a backpacker and explore the culture and heritage of these 'pahadis' who are very simple and humble. River Beas runs beside you always where ever you go reminding you that God is always with you. Experience the thrills and chills of climbing/river rafting/paragliding. After all these, visit hadimba temple/ manu temple/ vashist kund to calm yourself. Walk around in the streets of Mall road and explore the handicrafts art work. . Food wise - you can definitely survive on maggi :) of course, taste their delicacies like parathas and momos. Overall, this place will definitely give you a relaxed break from your hustle buste life in a city.
