"The place to relax"

  • 6.0/7

One place in Mumbai where you can beat the fast paced life and relax in peace! This place will relax you and you can zone out in you own thoughts while watching the arabian sea and enjoying the wind!! The only request to people who plan to visit is that please do not throw your wastes in water or leave it where you sit. Please do not ruin the beauty of the place.

Marie Drive also known as "Queen's Necklace" because of its C shape view. Best place for couples, friends and family. Best to visit in evening during sunset.

"City that never sleeps&yet known as city of dreams"

  • 7.0/7

It was an amazing and unforgettable experience, the city with the perfect mixture of all the possible variations & moods. If you are a party freak it can't get better, if you are a peace lover it can't get better, may you love travelling or just staying in one place and watching the day pass it can't get better. You got the best disc & pubs for the party & the best sea sides to sit and enjoy the natural beauty and get peace of mind. You can travel to places like Karjat & experience the difference side of Mumbai full of natural beauty best for adventurous activities. Mumbai is the high tech city of India where you can see skyscrapers as well. Mumbai is also known as city of dreams & A city that never sleeps, well the titles earned by this city says the story. If you visit India or you already live in India then Mumbai is a must visit place. Loved it lived it.

About Marine Drive (Offbeat Attraction)

voted as clean

Marine Drive is a skilfully laid-out boulevard, stretching along the coastline of Arabian Sea in South Mumbai. Built in an inverted C shape, this 3 km long concrete road connects the Nariman Point to Malabar Hills. Officially, it is named as Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Road. It is also known by sobriquets like ‘Queen’s Necklace’ as it appears to be a string of pearls, when viewed from a height during night.

This boulevard is popular as a sunset point among people, especially travellers. The road is lined by palm trees, which make it, appear like a beautiful walkway that is perfect to take a stroll. Besides, the road also houses plenty of hotels alongside that have the highest real estate prices in India in today’s time. To the north is the Chowpatty Beach, which is famous among Mumbaikars and travellers for local fast food.

The nearest local station to the Marine Drive is the Churchgate Station. Tourists can either walk to the road from the station or take up taxis, auto rickshaws, buses or even a tanga.
