This palace will not stop to amaze you since you enter till the exit. The garden quite innovative and beautiful. The different formations with flowers was awesome. After entering palace, the architecture is superbly awesome. During night the lighting makes the palace glowing and so lively.

"Good 2 days visit but plan during non holidays season" new review

  • 4.0/7
  • Posted 2 weeks ago
You have enough spots to keep you occupied for 2 days. But as its favourite destination for many people around, you should plan the visit in non holiday season. Otherwise you will end up seeing big crowds everywhere and cannot enjoy to the fullest. Palace is good. Plan the visit in the morning or before 2pm. Otherwise sun will beat you right in your eyes as you walk towards the palace. Zoo is quite good. You can spend 3h easily in the zoo. Chamundi hills is also a good place nearby.

"Excellent Palace" new review

  • 6.0/7

This palace is attract visitors due to its art and culture. The extraordinary art inside the palace mostly attract people and the outside total palace lightening which is only on sunday 07. 00pm onwards is also the another attractive thing in the palace.
Local horse ride is another thing to give you pleasure but be aware of the auto and local people who told about the mysuru silk saree b'coz those are too costly.
I can't advice not to go those places but buy by your own choice and there are lots of silk saree shops you can compare and buy. Nice city but tricky people.

"Nature at its best."

  • 7.0/7

If you are a nature liver, Mysore is where you ought to be. I fell in love with karnatak the day I stepped on its land. The huge lines of tea gardens will refresh your soul instantly, the awesome rich farms are enough to enchant you with its beauty and the so very simple type of life of the natives are just love. Mysore has some really prominent heritage of india in the form if some heritage castles, now turned in to government property or musuems. But in all, it's a great place to hit.
