Ooty Experience: People seek hill stations to visit in summer. However at times even the hill stations arent cool enough to quench your desires. And this is where Ooty stands ahead of other hill stations. I have been to a lot of hill stations but Ooty has the most pleasant weather of them all. It has a vast Botanical Garden with numerous varieties of beautiful flowers. A lake with all sorts of boating facilities. Best part is the fresh tea that you get around from the nearby tea plantations. The place is best suited for a leisurely time during summer. Couples can have a way great time in such weather. Hotels are ample with varied budgets. Food is a bit of a problem cause if you aren't from south India the cuisine is way too limited. Overall the place is great for visiting.

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: Shopping isn't that much interesting here. Attractions being the lake, Mountain View Points and The Botanical Garden.
