Ooty Experience: Nothing special about this hill station. I will recommend rather to visit Mount Abbu or Mahabaleswar, which is really cool and so many things to visit. If you are planning to visit then forgo the same. Wastage of money except visiting the botanical garden.

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: The only good thing is Ooty Chocolates, which are available at a reasonable price for which there is no need to travel such a long distance.

Activities & things to do: Visit the Botanical garden which is good but no match with Vrindaban Garden, Mysore.

Travel tips, How to reach, travel warnings etc: 1. You must carry some anti-vomitting tablet while going back from Ooty, as I was travelling back from Ooty in a KSRTC Volvo bus, almost seventy five percent occupant were vommiting including my wife and daughter. 2. The local auto rickshaw drivers behaviour was terrible with unimaginative price tag for every kilometer you travel.
