Food, sight-seeing and shopping: There is nothing for shopping. Food is available only made to order in almost all hotels. As such there are only limited hotels for stay. Water falls, trekking and visiting some temples are the only sight seeing. Not much to explore in this hill station.

Travel tips, How to reach, travel warnings etc: From Bangalore reach Salem. Take Rasipuram road, ReacRasipuram town and near the temple take left which leads to Semmedu. Semmedu is the town in Kolli Hills. Drive carefully as there are 70 hairpin bends. And it is a two way traffic to and from the hills. Take warm clothes during winter as it gets cold after the evenings.
