"Pinkcity" new review

I love this city the most. I like the delicious varieties of food available in this city. This city is famous for its gems and jewellery, rajasthani outfits, folk dances, lovely helpful people and festivals. During Diwali the city is well lighted up and decorated. It is a great city ideal for food lovers, shopping and ofcourse amazing night life.

"Special destinations- explore yourself" new review

  • Posted 4 weeks ago
Travelling is the best solution to take a break from this tiring, busy, work-a-holic life. One needs to be refreshed every month to be able to give his best. And explore within.

"An amazing place to visit. Jaipur has it's own beauty which we can't find anywhere else. I love colo" new review

I am shopaholic, so went to Bappu Bazaar. Loved the place and I would just recommend the people to have good budget when you go to such places. Because you will get such nice things there and won't control yourself from buying.

"The heat at the time (June) there was paramount. I went there from Dehradun I wasn't used to of that" new review

  • Posted 4 weeks ago
Well .. I visited Jaipur because I was doing an internship with AhimsaGram, again because of low budget I've to find an organization who will fund my travel expense and accommodation arrangements. I went to Jaipur in June. At first I couldn't handle the heat. But slowly I started enjoying it too. One day I went to old City where there was this golgappe Wala and I had the best **** golgappe I've ever had. The spicy food, remarkable architecture, you almost start feeling like a royal yourself.

"A perfect combination of culture and music" new review

  • Posted 4 weeks ago
My trip here begins with the delicious and spicy dishes of Rajasthan like Dale Bhatti Chorma, Onion kachoris and especially Chanch (Butter milk) Rabri my love as I am a milkoholic. The uniqueness here was the Namkeens they eat with every meal like if it is a salad.
The next day was my beautiful bullet ride with my friend in the hills of Rajasthan of about 10 km from the city. The ride was actually quite different because you were on the hills of not greenery surrounding you but forts and the red sand. I visited the forts like Nahargarh, Jaigarh and Amber. NAHARGARH FORT was built in 1734 by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh 2, the founder of Jaipur and trust me the whole Jaipur looks so beautiful from here, the crowd of the city could be seen from this silent and isolated place away from the noise. You while travelling here in the bullet feels like you have a entirely a vast kingdom and you are no less than a king. It too had shooting of Rang de basanti and the famous jump. JAIGARH FORT equally beautiful was the center of artillery production for the Rajputs and home to the largest Cannon in the world called Jaivana of about 6. 15M. AMBER FORT on the other hand is listed on the UNESCO World Heritage Site built in 1592.
Besides that the language and the culture of Rajasthan is so unique and beautiful. You just love that turban and langot with that language. The music I was already a fan of Rajasthan music and art. I sat aside the person playing instrument in the fort and listened the music which was just perfect suiting the place.
The people here are really friendly, you have to just sit in the company of the people and enjoy their talks in their language.
The trip is not complete until and unless you have a shopping there. So we went to take some traditional clothes of Rajasthan like some kurti for our sisters back home and added the unforgettable moments to the Jaipur diaries.
The Page of my travelling diary I coloured with pink was really a beautiful experience.
