The visit to the museum is something I can't get enough of. The art pieces are so well bifurcated that you can choose which ones you would like to visit. The sections made up during summer vacation for kids is something no one should miss. The interaction and painting games for kids really make knowledge with fun a best time. Apart from this time to time the museum comes with exhibitions of renowned artists and some really good shows which makes once visit worth the time. Really love to be there when ever there are some new events put up.

It's a wonderful experience to visit this art museum, antique art pieces, nicely maintained museum at the nominal entry fee. Definitely you would not like to miss it and recommended.

It's a wonderful museum in Mumbai, opp Jehangir Art Gallery, very good learning place for kids. They just love it, state of the art collection will not disappoint you, worth a trip with kids and recommended.

Prince of wales museum is treat to art loving people, take a 3 -4 hour time of a spectacular journey of well preserved art material of historical perspective.

Prince of Wales Museum, now the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Vastu Sangrahalaya, was found in the early 20th century to commemorate the visit of the then Prince of Wales. Built in 1905 to 1915, this museum served as a Children's Welfare Centre and a Military Hospital during the First World War. In 1922 however, it was transformed into Prince of Wales Museum and was inaugurated by Lady Lloyd.
It was in 1990s that the museum was renamed after the founder of Maratha Empire, Shivaji. Spread across an area of 12,000 sq. m, this museum is ringed by palm trees and flower beds. Inside the museum are approximately 50,000 artefacts like sculptures, coins and more, displayed in separate sections including Art section, Archaeological section, Natural History section and new galleries.
