I visited this place around 2 months back and the Lord Venkateshwara idol is really superbly carved. There are around 5 small temples on the same hill top and the environment is really so relaxing. There are a few hotel at the entrance but the quality I would rate bad and the public transport facilities are not really good so better take a private vehicle or own vehicle.

"Amazing Holy Destination"

  • 7.0/7

As the temple is on the hill, surroundings captivate ones attention. The main deity is Lord Venkateswara and is the replica of Venkateswara's idol in Tirumala. There are temples of other deities also like Lord Ganesha, Anjaneya. Temple's aura is serene and you can feel it as you enter the temple. It's a wonderful experience visiting Sanghi Temple.

"Peaceful and relaxing temple"

  • 5.5/7
  • Posted Dec 27, 2015
It is definitely worth travelling, the speciality of this temple is very peaceful and relaxing. A temple dedicated to lord Venkateshwara and set up by Sanghi Mills organisation, it is main place for many of the South Indian movie locations, some monkeys are also present. When I went they allowed cameras and phones so I think you can carry, it attracts mostly to people who worship god a lot and like peaceful places, better to visit temple during sunrise and sunset. Footwear not allowed and there are many large steps but another way to go temple directly avoiding steps.

One of the Excellent religious attraction in Hyderabad. One of my favourite temple. The temple is quiet peaceful. This is the lord Venkateswara Temple located at top of the hill. There are 10 temples in the compound. It's a beautiful temple. Own vehicles(mostly bikes) are suitable for this place. The temple is very pleasant with cool environment.

Sanghi Temple situated in Sanghi Nagar which is 25 km away from Hyderabad city, Sanghi Temple is a must visit location for everyone who visits Hyderabad, and they could feel the awesome atmosphere here. Although the main deity of the temple is Lord Venkateshwara, one can find other important Hindu Gods as well. The idol of Lord Venkateswara is said to be the replica of the one that is in Tirumala. You will find little crowd here, mostly there are shootings going on. The Temple is constructed on a Hill, and you can choose to travel up hill in your car or by stair case. One can also plan a trip to various other sightseeing places such as Ramoji Film City which is less than 1 km away from Sanghi Temple.
