Food, sight-seeing and shopping: I stayed at Cherrapunjee holiday resort. Situated at a picturesque location, the resort is a heaven for people with interest in photography. Very hospitable service and extremely tasty food.
Activities & things to do: 1. Must definitely see the famous waterfalls such as Nohkalikai Falls, Nohsngithiang Falls, Dianthlen Falls, Mawsmai Falls etc.
2. Double decker root bridge / David scott trail Trekking
3. Kreh Mawmluh Caving ( my personal favourite). Must not miss this for anything!!!
Travel tips, How to reach, travel warnings etc: Can reach by car from shillong. Approximately 90 kms from Shillong. Must not miss the ride from shillong to Cherranpunjee. The beautiful strips of gorges will keep you spellbound throughout the journey.
