My capsule review :) . . * Main attraction is the view. * Parking on the roadside, a bit dangerous. * Entry is not free. Read my full review by visiting my website, the link is available on my profile LifeThoughtsCamera ranks #8 in TopIndianBlogs

We visited the place during monsoon, so lots of restriction. But you can walk down to the sunset point along the hill road. But the clouds did not allow us to view the sunset.

If you are planning for chill out in Malnad region - checkpoint this amazing place is called Agumbe!! This place occurs in the mid of the way from Udupi to Sringeri. While driving you find lots of steep curves (also called hair pin curves) to reach the sun set view point! Plus point for Photographers!!! Charge your battery for more Pano pics. "Excellent place for nature lovers and photographers"

  • 6.0/7

Agumbe Sunset Point is worth a visit in lifetime for the breathtaking views of sunset and nature. It is located in middle of Agumbe Ghat on Udupi Shimoga highway. Sunset is clearly visible during Summer and if you are lucky with no clouds, one can view sunset during Winter season. Rainy season is not advisable, however for the picturesque nature one can visit this place any time during the year.

Sunset Point is located next to the main road and you will find lot of vendors selling eatables. Beware of Monkeys as there are lot trying to snatch.
