Ooty Experience: Ooty as we all know its a major destination in south india, not only south even lots of North Indian has craze to visit this place.Ooty is a hill station with lots of green tea estates and lots of valley.What i like most in ooty Pykara falls. Yor cab driver may not tell u about this place, but if u go there u must visit Pykara falls, rather than visiting rose garden. Ooty Botanical garden is another good place, it has variety of trees,Herbs, cactus, some are so old, u can really give couple of hrs to this place. I went to ooty in this summer and i felt it was my biggest mistake, the hill station was over crowded, wherever we went we faced the crowd, which was very frustrating, specially Dodabetta that place was so crowded that we had to stand in a long Queue. i like lonely hill station where u can feel the nature silently, and from very closely, but in ooty even though the greenery and views were beautiful, i felt that i came to some MELA :)

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: sight-seeing:Botanical garden, Ooty lake, Pykara Falls, Rose garden, Tea Estates, Dodabetta, etc etc Shopping: u can buy coffee, Tea, Chocolates, Spices, etc.... Food is not that good, u dont have much option...Hotel Monarch Serves awesome food...

Activities & things to do: Just like other Hill stations u can watch out different places, Trekking, Boating, ..... The best thing to do is take a nice resort and walk through the pinus, and Devdar jungle, and just enjoy the Fogy weather....

Travel tips, How to reach, travel warnings etc: From bangalore u get direct Volvo buss. Or you can hire a cab from maysoor , its awesome view when yor cab passes by the bandipur and Masinagudi forest, you can spot many Deer, few elephant....
