"Tirumala and Tirupati"

Tirupati Experience: Lord venketeswara famously known as Balaji is on the seven hills tirumala, from tirupati you can reach by bus or hire a taxi. most the persons climb it by walk , there are 2 ways one is Alipiri route which takes on an average 4hrs to climb, the other route is Srivari mettu from Srinivasa mangapuram it takes 1.5 to 2 hrs to climb from here, but the steps are steep.. Tirupati is a hub of temples like Srinivasa mangapuram, where lord venketeswara stayed immediately after marriage for six months, Alivelu mangapuram lordess Padmavati amma temple is here, in addition Govindaraja swamy temple , kodandaraswamy temple, varadaraja swamy temple , kapileshwara swamy ( shiva) temple are the important temples to visit at Tirupati.
Food, sight-seeing and shopping: South indian and multi cuisine are available at Fortune kenses, hotel Bliss, Mayura, Bhimas etc. in tirumala in addition to lord venketeshwara papnashanam (waterfalls) , Shila thoranam (natural arch), lords feet, many gardens are available. Do not forget to purchase good stone carved laminated photos of lord venketeswars, and also replica of lord venketeswars's temple Ananda Nilayam and also sound boxes with various mantra. Venketagiri is very nearby place to tirupati which is famous for cotten dresses and saris which you can by in tirupati. in addition most poweful temple of lord ganesh varasiddi vinayaka temple is present at Kanipakam and sri kalahasti shiva temple famous for rahu ketu pooja is also nearby.
Activities & things to do: On foot you can climb tirumal from alipiri or sri vari mettu. even in tirumala papnashanam and venugopal swamy temple can be climed. sri vari padalu ( holy foot of lor venketeswar) can be calimbed. Donot forget to take bath in papanashanam.
Travel tips, How to reach, travel warnings etc: You can reach tirupati by air, by train or by bus. donot reach in the weekend or during summer or january or october vaccations when there will be huge crowds except if you are interested to see Brahmotsavas annual festival of lord venketeswara when the crowd will be huge.
