Kudremukh Experience: Kudremukh being there in news for its mining issues and for its amazing enviroment had been in my mind for quite some time. So one fine day, decided to drive down and drove the 310KM in 6 hours.
Food, sight-seeing and shopping: Food was mostly from the resort and it was good. Shopping ...... not much to be done except for some fresh ground coffee.......
Activities & things to do: Trek is amazing. Never miss it.
There is a 4+4, 7+7 and 15+15 trek. And trust me all these treks are worth it. Though it is tiring, once you reach the top, you wud appreciate the effort.........
Travel tips, How to reach, travel warnings etc: Distance from Bangalore to Silent valley is 310KMs (shortest) and 355 (longest). 80percent of the roads are good in the shortest route and 70percent of the road good in the longest route.
Min time required wud be 6 hours and max....depends on your driving style.
