Rishikesh Experience: We had Planned of doing something adventurous so we decided to do so in Rishikesh. We were very much excited and after reaching the Beach and Siting behind Ganga Valley and doing Rafting in it is What We Can Never Forget ! just BEAUTIFUL AND AWESOME!

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: Food at beach was very good. Dint really got time for shopping so can't say abt that

Activities & things to do: Activities everyone must do in Rishikesh is RIVER RAFTING. I Guarantee you will have fun and enjoy !!!

Travel tips, How to reach, travel warnings etc: It's easy to Reach Rishikesh either by Government bus or by rickshaw no problem at all and one can prebook the camps online or either by reaching at destination!

Rishikesh Experience: it is a beautiful place near the riverside with all luxuries , if u love adventure n peace at a place then u must go there. bonfire at night n music really rock the place.

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: if u ll stay in camp they will show u best places, shopping its in city area and camp is situated near village

Activities & things to do: dont just sit idle, experience each n everything it will be a remembrable trip

Travel tips, How to reach, travel warnings etc: be safe, dont try to act over smart follow instructions of ur instructors because they know it better and then only u can enjoy to the fullest. :)

Rishikesh Experience: it is very good place where we can darshanam of holy ganga. we can also have darshanam of great sants here. rishikesh is a very good place for ones innerself dovelpment. it is the gate of chardham yatra. one can enjoy the place spiritually n tourism point.

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: sight seeing and shopping both are here very nice as there are very good shops of shopping like geeta bhawan store n fooding where I stay is very healthy n testy.

Activities & things to do: pranayama, dhyan, yoga n arsh vidhya studies can also available here easily.

"Ideal Location for Short Vacation"

Rishikesh Experience: Place is good for family vaccation. Peaceful location with reglious touch added to the overall experience.

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: Roadside Restaurants are not enough and good for food. Although In-House Restaurants (in Hotels) are good.

Activities & things to do: Rafting is Must. Walk around River, Treking to Neelkanth will add to flavour.

Travel tips, How to reach, travel warnings etc: Easily reachable from all locations. Well connected via Road. Nearest rail connectiviety is haridwar from there one can easily reach by Taxi or Bus.

Rishikesh Experience: It is nice to be there near the banks of ganga . Good to be there for 2 days. Rafting and other activities are good

Rishikesh Experience: Its a beautiful place to hang with friend on weekends, just 250 km from Delhi, can do adventure activities like rafting, kayaking, mountain biking , bunjee jumb, flying fox , trekking, and much much more.

Rishikesh Experience: Rishikesh the ultimate destination. Wao it was a great weekend. Me and my friends came to know about this beautiful destination through JourneyMart. It's a great site for travel lovers. We had lots of fun during our weekends in Rishikesh. The best part was the river rafting , this is the best way to experience the power of the swirling river. Rishikesh Experience: Its a good place to visit, enjoying nature and spiritual destinations around the Rishikesh.

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: Food corner at Rishikesh is very good. All Indian cuisine can available in Rishikesh Food Corners.. Sight-seeing is marvelous with a well organized by government transportation system and with all local private providers. Shopping experience is very interesting here.

Activities & things to do: Just roaming whole day near sacred Ganges. It feels better.

Rishikesh Experience: Rishikesh has a beauty that is often the boon and the bane of a pilgrimage town. The emerald Ganges speeds through it, recorded bhajans bring the evening to a close, and the precariously narrow roads with its jhulas offer a kind of setting that you don't find elsewhere.

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: You get variety of Indian foods in Rishikesh. In particular, Chotiwala restaurant was very nice. Other attractions in the destination are Shivananda ashram for its serene setting and activities, TTD temple. If you wish, you can travel a bit more and see Vashisht guha and Devprayag (in fact, here you can have bath also).

Activities & things to do: For youngsters, rafting is available. For oldies, lot of temples and ashrams.

Travel tips, How to reach, travel warnings etc: Reach Hardwar by train and from there, go by road (either bus or car). Rishikesh is about 25 kms from Hardwar railway station. No special travel warning is required.

Rishikesh Experience: It is a beautiful destination i likes it, the resort is on the gangas beach.

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: The favorite restaurant is chotiwala in swaragashram shopping from gitabhawan's store.

Activities & things to do: Take a holy dip in ganga, take a ride in boat & visit parmarthashram.

Rishikesh Experience: It is magical place, lot of ghats to visit. We have evening Aarti and one should not miss it, though Aarti here is not of Haridwar scale, but it is nicely done.

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: Food could be prob as i have not found many good restaurants here

Rishikesh Experience: Overallll rishikesh is a nice place with nice hotels and people, it has much more clean air and atmosphere compared to other cities good for relaxing and peace..

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: Food is good and healthy specially i used to eat in tiptop restaurant there is many things to see in this destination as rafting, swimming, boating etc shopping is cheap although old fashioned

Activities & things to do: Many things like boating, rafting sight seeing...

Travel tips, How to reach, travel warnings etc: Come haridwar train station first and then take a bus to rishikesh it will take around 1 hour ...

"A Holy place for a holiday"

Rishikesh Experience: Whenever a find a short break from my routine life which is full of chaos in metro cities, i love to check into a lonely place and meditate, i prefer to visit Rishikesh GMVN, first of all because its near to Delhi, the Drive from Delhi to Rishikesh is so beautiful. The best part of GMVN is its location on a hill and away from citiy's crowd. The forest area nearby is like heavenly, healthy and vibrant for a morning walk. So i love the place.

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: I love to eat at Vrindavan restaurant the nearest good place for best food. I walk upto Parmarth Niketan through Ramjhoola spend my time near Ganga watching people around. Window shopping near Geeta Bhawan and Ganga river is interesting.

Activities & things to do: You can only be with yourself peacefully and enjoy nature around, eat the most traditional and rusty Indian food, snacks etc. Walking along the Ganga is mesmerising. Evening Aarti and Bhajan etc. at Parmarth Niketan is so divine. Simply great change from life in a metro.

Travel tips, How to reach, travel warnings etc: From Delhi to Rishikesh drive by your own vehicle is recommended as convenience in Rishikesh will become a hindrance in local sight seeing and visit to nearby tourist places. Safe driving is recommended on Hills.

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: Not to miss the bread cafe where you'll get all kinds of breads and yummy cakes

Activities & things to do: Must go for rafting and bunggy Jumping

Rishikesh Experience: I like this place we enjoyed so much there, excellent views of holy river ganga from ganga's bank and great experience at lakshman jhulla

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: Nice restaurants, chhotiwala attractions of rishikesh are rafting, trekking shopping places r also good

"RISHIKESH - CAMPING AND RAFTING"

Rishikesh Experience: 15-20 camps there with 2 bed in each camp. there you will get only candle light or lamps. coz there is no electricity. Camps are on side beach on the river ganges. whenever u feel hot dive into the river and swim near to the beach only. play with ball in the water. take picture as view is good there.

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: In the morning you will get bread butter tea, Idly, sambhar, Dosa and Egg Omlette, Aloo paratha and curd there. In the lunch you will get 2 kind of Subzi, Rice, Naan and puri In dinner you will get Veg-Nonveg Snacks for your drinks and 2 main course 1 veg and 1 nonveg with rice and Roti.

Activities & things to do: Noisy thing are not allowed like music system or bands.. but you can go with guitar and tongo.. and enjoy play them there and sing you own you will enjoy that.

Travel tips, How to reach, travel warnings etc: You can go by bus or by your car. Railway station at rishikesh also but airport is around 30km far from rishikesh at dehradun.
