History of Secunderabad
Secunderabad is the twin city of Hyderabad, located in the state of Telangana. The name of the city was derived from the name of Sikandar Jah, the third Nizam of the Asaf Jahi dynasty. Although Hyderabad and Secunderabad are called twin cities, the cultures and histories of both the cities are completely different. Secunderabad was a British cantonment, which was founded in the 18th century.
