Siliguri Experience: Siliguri is a very good place in West Bengal also in India. It is the gateway of north Bengal. Siliguri people is very friendly. One of best food is momo .I like it. Siliguri has many famous tourist spot. like Isckon temple, guruwar, hong kong market which is very big market..

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: shopping is cheap in siliguri and momo in siliguri is very good and also pani puri. sight seeing was very good. city centre was also good

Siliguri Experience: Siliguri is a very strategic destination for Hills lovers Also for people loves good food & foreign goods shopping

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: Cool hot destination is Darjeeling & Gangtok from SILIGURI Definitely there are nearby places like Sukna, Sevok etc...

Activities & things to do: Eating & Shoping

Travel tips, How to reach, travel warnings etc: You can travel by both Rail ( Nearby Rly stn is NJP) and by Air well connected with places like Delhi, Kolkata & Guwahati

Siliguri Experience: Siliguri is a business hub and a good market for garments and electronics.Its having two to three international borders including Nepal . One can easily visit Nepal .

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: Good food is available.One can do good shopping in Hongkong market

Siliguri Experience: Siliguri is a n oasis in a desert. It has excellent market place. The restaurant was fine and we savored the delicious sweets and chhole-bhatoore there

Siliguri Experience: Siliguri is a very good place, a quiet and growing city with all the modern facilities and features of small town. its nature paradise. the starting point for Darjeeling and gangtok. India's 2 best tourist destination.

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: Hong kong market, City center, club montanna vista.

Siliguri Experience: Siliguri in itself is not a great tourist place and it a stopover place for tourists going to the hills of Darjeeling, Nepal, Sikkim , Bhutan and the Dooars . But even then it is a city which is tourist friendly. It is well connected by roads to the tourists destinations and is also well connected by road, rail and air to rest of the country.

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: As I mentioned above, SIliguri itself has not much tourist value except as a gateway to adjacent Nepal, Bhutan, Sikkim and the nearest Darjeeling hills. Most people venture across border to Nepal for shopping of indian and foreign goods at reasonable prices.

Activities & things to do: Not much in Siligiri per se.

Travel tips, How to reach, travel warnings etc: Outsiders can avoid some cheap shady hotels which are a plenty in siliguri. It is not safe . For the hills, it is better to look for drivers and taxis from hills as many accidents have occurred with taxis from plains. The local drivers are more familiar of the topography of hills.

Siliguri Experience: When we visited Siliguri, city was celebrating Dusherra, number of attractive pandals for devi were visited. Entire city was looking a Holy City.

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: Food quality is good.

Activities & things to do: Just sight seeing

Siliguri Experience: Not far from the town station or the siliguri junction--that is good.

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: Food we were not taken there, however seen the service not bad. nearby there are restaurants, chemists' shop and the heart of the town with the shopping malls, easily can be done marketing.

Activities & things to do: Rest comfortably in silence and do enjoy your traveling.

Travel tips, How to reach, travel warnings etc: From siliguri junction or siliguri town station by auto, riksha or if you are an able-bodied, can easily arrive there by walking.

Siliguri Experience: It is situated in the heart of Siliguri at Hillcart road in the Dist of Derjeeling.

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: Food ;supplied for boarders are good,so many sight -seeings are available there as well as shopping markets and shops for visiters.

Siliguri Experience: It is a popular and important junction of various tourist places for north eastern region of india. Also you can visit several places by night staying only in silliguri. May be it is a crowdy city but full of lives.So many hotels and resturants and bars are available here. Overall it is a city full of fun but for tolurist little expensive. Beware of frauds in this city.

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: Different types of foods are available here. different range of foods are also available depending on your budget. Transportation is ordinary but available mostly depending on autos. Darjeeling, Gangtok Lava,Jaldapara etc all famous tourist places are connecting with this city and convenient also. For tourist I think HONG KONG market is always favourable. Beware of cheaters.

Activities & things to do: It is a business town also. If you have any leasure time you can travel so many nearby torist places for short trip after doing your business.

Travel tips, How to reach, travel warnings etc: Your may travel DARJEELING, GANGTOK. LAVA LOLEGAON,RISHOP ETC.so many places according tour time and budget from here. Nearby famous railway stattion is NEW JALPAIGURI. SILLIGURI itself has its own Rly Station. Nearby Airport is BAGDOGRA.
