Solan Experience: solan is a nice place, a educational hub of himachal, with a lifetime experience of toy train and to have bless from Shoolini Devi and Jatoli Shiv
Food, sight-seeing and shopping: visit Delhi Darbar for nice & spicey food and dn't miss the rasmalai of Mall road. for sight seeing ferry on toy train, visit world famous temples & Mohan Meakins
Activities & things to do: Nothing special to do just chill and walk on mall road though busy on working days but can roam freely on sundays. Can go to Anand Complex the only theatre in Solan
Travel tips, How to reach, travel warnings etc: Nothing spl. & specific , it is just 6-7 hrs drive from delhi & the roads are marvlous but lot of toll tax barriers

"Solan (Himachal Pradesh)" new review

Solan Experience: Solan is around 50 kms before Shimla though it is a hill station but not a tourist destination.
Food, sight-seeing and shopping: Domino's is the only good option available in Solan. Sightseeing wise there are many place's & temples to see near Solan.
Activities & things to do: There's nothing much to do in Solan.
Travel tips, How to reach, travel warnings etc: You can simply drive down to Solan, roads are good or by train (broad gauge) upto kalka & thereafter on toy train (narrow gauge) to Solan.
