Solapur Experience: Good. As Solapur is a centre to visit nearby holy places like Aaklkot,Tuljapur Gandgapur,Pandharpur and Siddheswar temple.

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: famous for Solapur chaddar . Local food very nice.

Activities & things to do: Visit nearby places .Enjoyed shopping.

Travel tips, How to reach, travel warnings etc: At Pandharpur the local(Pujari etc) at temples give trouble just for money so it feel very bad while having Darshan.

Solapur Experience: solapur is business place and in surrounding area ther are some religious places also

Solapur Experience: A beautiful town with Sugarcane fields around and nearby villages has pakka maintained house. It has controllable pollution and green surroundings. Houses are beautiful and have good schools and colleges.

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: You can get all maharastrial food fresh. The various international food is also available. The good quality of wine is available. The famous solapur Bed covers & Bed Sheets are attraction. the hand made cloths are available very cheap. Due to its vicinity to Karnataka, the south Indian food is also available in plenty. The various fruits like grapes, banana, orange and chikoo is available very cheap. The sweet shops sell fresh sweets which have their own taste. The remains of old Solapur Kings can be visited

Activities & things to do: You may visit Maharastrian drama theaters are go to movie or roam around the old city.

Travel tips, How to reach, travel warnings etc: The nearest Airport is Pune or Banglore. You can take train from Banglore or Pune. The Bus service is also available from Mumbai and Pune. The Solapur station falls on Mumbai-Madras line

Solapur Experience: Solapur is a nice place in Maharastra having many holy places around like Tuljapur, Pandharpur.

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: You can buy posters of god and other puja related things in Pandharpur and Tuljapur.

Activities & things to do: You must visit Tuljapur, Pandharpur and Shree Swami Samarth Math near to Solapur.

Travel tips, How to reach, travel warnings etc: You can reach solapur by train or bus from Mumbai or Pune. From mumbai its almost a night journey by train.

Solapur Experience: Solapur is a small city not much of development is seen in the city with clumpy approach roads.

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: Some typical solapurian style food on various approach rods can be recommended.

Activities & things to do: Nothing to specify.

Solapur Experience: Solapur is good place for going to Pandharpur a religious centre.

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: Typical Maharashtrian food is excellent..

Solapur Experience: The destination is good. However, one needs to take care of selecting the hotels and food.

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: Try out restauranets at Hotel Aishwarya - Rajeshahi Thali Hotel Nisarg - Pithala - Bhakari Not to try restaurantes: Kamat Hotel Savji Biryani House For Lodging: Do not stay at Hotel Pratham You can try: Lotus Hotel, City Park, Hotel Aishwarya (I have no experience of this but seems to be good) Local Mithai: Kunda from Sharma Mithai, old employment chouwk Shengadana Chuttani from Hotel Nisarg, Near HP Plant, next to Kundi Village - 15 kms from solapur Limbodi Chiwada form Hotel Jaishankar, at Limbodi village near Pathakar naka toll Grapes from Draksh Sanshodhan Kendra, near Pune Things to buy: Solapuri Chadar from Purgoam Factory Outlet

Activities & things to do: Tuljabhavani - 45 kms - beware of bandits

Travel tips, How to reach, travel warnings etc: The repairs for Pune-Solapur Road is under progress for conversion into four lanes - there are lot of diversions You should take extreme care while selecting restuarents - getting a quality food is a problem here. You will not get any good restaurent on Pune-Solapur road - plan your journey keeping this in mind Pune-Solapur 255 Kms 6 hrs journey by Road In nights trucks are trevelling on the road with taillight off - beware

Solapur Experience: Good destination

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: Food is spicy. but good for sight-seeing. Must visit Siddeshwar Temple, Akkalkot & Tuljapur

Solapur Experience: NH 13, MH13, and postal code 413 001 onwads = the major link of North to South in INDIA i.e. suthern Marathi City. Solapur is special in it's own Lingual status Marathi, Telugu, Kannada, Hindi and in certain areas Sindhi peoples are there. Paniauri the street chat of it is the highest peak os test fascinates to everyone and last but not lest The major textile town in Asia.

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: Bhuikote Killa, Smriti udyaan, Siddheshwar Mandir, Maldhoke Snactuary, Zoo ancient temple etc

Activities & things to do: Its Simply great

Travel tips, How to reach, travel warnings etc: Trains are from almost entire country, Roads NH 13 and 09 and other major roads Pune, Hyderabad, Hospet Airport Solapur 9 KM from city center flight from Mumbai
