Srikalahasti Experience: Good and nice to visit this holy place about faclities no need to worry transportation food accommodation is good

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: I have not done any shopping except the gods photos

Activities & things to do: Watch the temple of pathalla ganapathi it is a must watch temple and take blessings

Srikalahasti Experience: It was a good expereience. It is a spiritual place.It was a nice quite and reliogious atmosphere.We did not have any sort of problems.Its was satisfactory.

Srikalahasti Experience: A place for propitiation of the shadowy planets and clearing of Karmic debts. Moments spent in the vast spaces of the temple gives one a sense of peace and hope.

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: The curious and mementos associated with Lord Shiva - the culinary delights of Andhra .

Activities & things to do: Spend the day in the temple and the shops nearby - also a place to recharge the energy spent in the hustle and bustle of the cities. A quiet place for lazing around.

Travel tips, How to reach, travel warnings etc: From Chennai / Tirupathi - bus journeys may be tiresome because of the roads.

Srikalahasti Experience: very good and pilgrim center. close to tirupati and when you do not have appointment at tirupati, worth seeing place for everyone.

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: all were very good

Activities & things to do: pooja at temple should not be missed

Srikalahasti Experience: The stay at Srikalahasti was very nice. People performs pooja to Lord Siva for Kala Sarbba Dosha. They believe that by doing so, this pooja will vanish the bad effect of Dosha.

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: We went to a mini waterfall nearby area and enjoyed.

Activities & things to do: People can visit the temple and have darshan of Lord Siva.

Travel tips, How to reach, travel warnings etc: Nearby Tirupathi. You can reach by bus. There are plenty of buses.

"A trip to SriKalahasti"

Srikalahasti Experience: SriKalahasti is a small town which is famous for a Lord Shiva Temple. The entire town itself is based on that Temple only. It's believed that this Temple is one of the Remedy Center for the people who are having Rahu - Kethu Dosha, Sarpa Dosha and Kala-Sarpa Dosha, etc.

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: Even though this place is in Andhra Pradesh, Food is not good in this Town. Normally Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh are famous for food. There is no other place for sight-seeing in this Town. Only place to see is the main Temple and that's really an ancient Temple and a very powerful Temple.

Activities & things to do: There's a nothing to do in this town apart from visiting the Temple. People who are having any of the Rahu - Kethu Doshas like Sarpa Dosha and Kala-Sarpa Dosha should visit the Temple in the previous day evening and should get ticket for the next day puja. The Remedy puja will be done in the earlier morning itself. The famous pujas here are Sarpa Dosha Remedy Puja, Kala-Sarpa Dosha Remedy Puja and Rudra Puja.

Travel tips, How to reach, travel warnings etc: It's just around 32 kms from Tirupati. It'll take 45 - 50 minutes in Bus from Tirupati to SriKalahasti. We can reach even faster by Car. So people can combine their plans of Tirumala Tirupati Temple Darshan along with SriKalahasti trip. They can have Darshan at Tirumala in the day and can reach SriKalahasti in the evening. They can have their night stay in SriKalahasti if only it's a must and can have Remedy Pujas done in the next day morning. If you've got Car, you can come and stay in Tirupati itself as the hotels and restaurants will be good in Tirupati.

Srikalahasti Experience: Kalahasti is a town of pilgrimage and is well known by the Hindus for having a Kalasarpa Dosha, to perform a specific Pooja that happens only in selected temples in india, and this temple here is one of them.

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: Nothing much to shop for in this small town, Food is good in few Hotels.

Activities & things to do: Perform Pooja for Rahu & Kethu shanthi for people who have KalaSarpa Dosha

Travel tips, How to reach, travel warnings etc: Reach by train from Hyderabad, Narayanadri Drops at about 6 AM, u can take an auto, dont pay more then 35 - 40 Rs for the auto guys, and dont tell them the hotel name, if u tell them the hotel name the auto guys will charge according to the standard of hotel u are walking into

Travel tips, How to reach, travel warnings etc: 1) Have Food at Chennai particularly if you are traveling at night no hotel on Highway till Tada and thereafter finding a pure veg hotel that is open is quite tough. Only some hotels are open in Kalahasti after 10 PM. 2) Watch out for a deep pothole on the road after 15 KMs from Tada

Srikalahasti Experience: Overall it was good experience. It was close to temple, shopping and even to busstop with good security

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: Food is good at the restaurant attached to the hotel

Activities & things to do: Though we didnt have much time to go around. I guess there is hill and temple close by to visit

Srikalahasti Experience: Outstanding temple. Must visit for all Shaivites.

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: Purely religious destination. The MGM Grand is the best hotel there - hands down.

Activities & things to do: Pujas, Pujas and Pujas.

Travel tips, How to reach, travel warnings etc: Best by road. Enjoy the forest route.

"For marital harmony"

Srikalahasti Experience: Beautiful, on the bank of river. Awe inspiring sight from hill top. Peaceful rustic scenes, away from city pollution. Food's mostly traditional. I never believed until experienced. Marital bond is for ever, eternal. We have to keep it intact, however complicated, difficult may it be. Differences in opinions may escalate to disputes, brawls. We should not give up. This place truly is miraculous for it reinforces that bond. It all happened magically.

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: Beautiful, on the bank of river. Aweful sight from hill top. Peaceful rustic scenes, away from city pollution. Food\'s mostly traditional.

Activities & things to do: Best suited for solace, meditation.

"Trip to Srikalahasti"

Srikalahasti Experience: We went to bilgrim trip to Srikalahasti temple last month. It was quiet pleasant stay there due to hotel staff in MGM. They gave good info about the temple procedures and it was helpful in the temple.

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: Food at the restaurent below was very good. But they are not allowed to carry outside which we may need to carry while going outside.

Activities & things to do: visit the temples in srikalahasti

Srikalahasti Experience: A nice pilgrimage place and you get peace of mind

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: Food is good and a this is a pilgrimage place there is not of much sight seeing and we do not expect sight seeing in this place

Srikalahasti Experience: Temple is very good and it is a place to be visited really you get pice of mind here and all your whishings will come true

Srikalahasti Experience: Sri Kalahasti is one of the famous temple for Rahu Kethu pooja in India..Here Poojas are done by devotees itself.

Srikalahasti Experience: Apart from the luxury hotels and temple all the areas are polluted.

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: One veg hotel, I dont know what is the name. But food in this hotel was ok.

Srikalahasti Experience: Religious place to visit . The accommodation was good.

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: Mainly famous for temple.

Activities & things to do: Different types of Pariharams can be performed in this temple.

Srikalahasti Experience: the place is nice and the hotel i have taken is okay kind of thing.

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: lot of food courts available on the street which is infront of the temple main gate. Good authentic south indian food

Activities & things to do: plz carry some mosquieto repellers if you are staying over night. have mineral water only unless the supplied water is boiled one.

Travel tips, How to reach, travel warnings etc: If you get down at srikalahasthi railway stattion then it would take 15 mintues to reach the temple. From tirupathi railway/bus station lot of busses from APSRTC will run for every 1 hr .Private hired vehicles numarous from tirupathi/sri kalahasthi -- but cautious while boarding these vehicles . do not be ashamed of bargaining the fares

Srikalahasti Experience: The place srikalahasti is a very good pilgrimage tourist spot which gives peace of mind in darshan as well as staying. we stayed in sai teja residency wchich is very near to the temple gives convenience. we enjoyed the trip.

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: Since food not available in sai teja we took it in hotel prahlad and saravana bhavan.

Activities & things to do: We need to perform pooja at the temple and need to stay one day in that town is a must

Travel tips, How to reach, travel warnings etc: It is easy to go by train as well as through bus and by car to srikalahasti. since the temple is situated in the main area it is easy to locate. the people who go to thirupathi can easily go to srikalahasti. so nothing to warn.
