Travel tips, How to reach, travel warnings etc: If you are going with friends you can take cab from jammu or if you are planning with family members must go through airway cause very bad road and roads side food dhabba.

Srinagar Experience: Srinagar is can be the best option if anyone is planning to visit during Feb-April. There are many place to visit. The best part would be stay in house boat at Nagin lake. I would recommend one should definitely visit Srinagar once in life time.

Srinagar Experience: While visiting Srinagar one must visit Tulip Garden, its amazing. Secondly best time to visit is in April as it is not much crowded due just starting of the season.

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: For food try Nathu's Sweets opp Dal lake. Do not buy from Emporium before trying at local market in the Dal lake itself.

Activities & things to do: Try water Sailing in Dal Lake. Its best thing to do.

Travel tips, How to reach, travel warnings etc: Must carry warm clothes. Jammu to srinagar is a 300km distance which may take 8-10 hrs. So try to take halt at Patnitop which is 4 hrs from jammu & proceed to Srinagar which is 6 hrs.

Srinagar Experience: every Indian has to visit the Sringar once in a life , its worh to see ,like leave in heaven. it is also worth to go at Srinagar in the mid of the March so u can enjoy & feel the winter days along with snow at most of the places. apart from that u are able to get maximum discount in hotel & transport , as actual season is going to start in the month of April.

Srinagar Experience: Srinagar is a good place surrounded by hills covered with snow. The vally city is full of green trees and enjoyable scenaries and small rivers. Weather is really pleasant during summer. One should never miss enjoyment of cable car riding from GULMARG-GONDOLA phase 1 & 2.

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: I am a vegetarian. I found so many Dhabas who prepare pure vegetarian food.

Srinagar Experience: Kashmir is one of the beautiful place of India. I would suggest that every people of India must visit this place.

Srinagar Experience: Very nice. Please do visit the place during jan-feb to enjoy the ice. It is correctly said that srinagar is switzerland of india. We enjoyed a bit of snowfall in the first week of april at palhgam. Do visit tulip garden. It opens only during mid march to mid april.

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: Foood is bit costly but ok. Shopping experience was not 2 gud. As if u r aware of how to find the best quality, then its ok. Otherwise they will bluff you.

Srinagar Experience: Most beautiful place i have ever seen in my life.Beautiful sightseen,enjoyable weather,it was really fantastic.Specially visit to GULMARG and then to upperwath in GANDOLA was really unforgettable.

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: Food was good.Special attractions were visit to GULMARG and then to upperwath in GANDOLA,SIKARA ride,TULIPBAG.We purchased winter dresses,dryfruits etc..

Or who prefers Airways they can directly reach to srinagar by flight. Warnings:- Every tourists should be aware of the sledge owner, auto drivers, horse owners etc as they can cheat you very badly. You should do bargaining at the shops as bargaining is the major factor of that markets.

Travel tips, How to reach, travel warnings etc: go to jammu and stay near raghunath temple, from there Jammu ST Bus leave to Srinagar at 6 am so book ticket one day in advance i.e uptill 7 pm and enjoy good ride.

Srinagar Experience: Srinagar is a wonderful place with wonderful people and the tourist is bound to enjoy the scenic beuty of nearby pahalgam gulmarg sonamarg.

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: The tourists can enjoy the local cuisine as well as cuisine from all parts of the country. The shopping is a nice experience with kashmir famous for pashminas wood crafts papier mache products and nice jewellery and accessories for girls.

Activities & things to do: The main thing to do is not to do anything. Just relax in a house boat or a shikara ride and relax in moghul gardens with boquet of flowers everywhere.
