Gold mine for beach lovers

Tarkarli located near malvan, maharashtra was one of the destination in my to see list for a long time and the wait was worth it. My friend and I visited this place in mid jan this year. Time of the year when you would want to enjoy but in peace. We left from new bombay by volvo sleeper around 10 and reached kudal around 9. From there we took a rick to tarkarli which is 30 km away from kudal. The place was inviting from the moment we touched malwan, with plenty of resorts one after another. These are available from as cheap as 500 and can go up to 2500 depending on the location and facilities. If you want a sea view room there are plenty of options available too.

Beaches in and around tarakali are one of the most beautiful beaches in maharashtra. With its pristine clear water and white sands its a must see for any beach lovers. One of the best part of our visit was the solitariness that these beaches had to offer which is unlikely at most of the tourist attractions. Within just two days of our stay I took home some of the best moments spend here one of which was experiencing scubadive.

To be inside crystal clear sea and be a part of marine life was a mesmerising and awe striking experience. Another take away from the trip was the dolphin sightseeing. Yes we had been lucky enough to spot not just one but two dolphin and you really need luck for this so carry one with you for this :) We also had some hands on adventure sports like banana ride, jet ski, parasailing, kayaking in tsunami islands. It was fun and the rides were at reasonable price. The ride to the backwaters from boat was awesome too.

The icing on the cake was the sea food. You will find simple homemade food that's not too heavy on your appetite so that u can engage in all the activities, yet divine. All these was possible within two days because of the lovely supportive and helpful locals, available amenities and available bike on rent. It was a very short tour for a alluring place like this and we plan to visit it again. It feels like it's calling us. After all where else is a budget trip like this is possible otherwise. All in all dont skip this place if you are a beach lover and if you are not if you want to embrace beauty :)

Perfect for destressing & ridding oneself of metro blues

Tarkarli is a virgin beach with shimmering clean crystal textured sand, blue and emerald sea and casuarina trees swaying in the breeze. It is a place where what all of us city slickers looking for clean pollution free environment is available for free. You want some excitement there are the bike rides, motor boat and speed boat rides hang gliding etc.

Simple tasty healthy food and the local delicacies for all those who want it is there. Also excellent sea food. Sindhudurg fort situated close by and with the sea as its moat is another attraction if you are suddenly want some activity. All in all one of the best places to rejuvenate and recharge, to untangle jangled nerves.
