| | Hi everyone!
I am planning a road trip by car next week - intend to start from Erode, go to velankanni and then on to kanyakumari; thing is I would like to hug the coastline and travel on the 'ECR' (atleast that is what Google Maps says) via Tuticorin (or Thoothukudi, to be politically correct). Questions are... How good or how bad is the road? Does it extend all the way?
Next issue, I am keen on returning via Shenkottah, Madurai, Dindugal, Pollachi, Tiruppur. I would like to travel around 300 km a day, which means halts needed at Velankanni, Thoothukudi, most Kanyakumarari, Madurai. Hence the request... If any one knows good places to stay at or near these towns, do let me know.

Holiday/pilgrimage/shoping tour in tutucorin

We are planning a ferry service between Colombo (Sri Lanka) and Tutucorin to commence in about one months time. The ferry will take 500 passengers at a time and take 8 hours to reach the destination. we need to work with a travel agent who could provide tour packages in Tuti/channi/bangalore ect covering
Shopping,Hindu temples,churches(velankani ect),and plases of interest.We as a local tour operator in Sri Lanka could provide tour packages to Indian tourist coming on the ferry to Colombo. We need a reputed travel agent who could work on a mutual basis with us.you could e-mail your replys to

tuticorin or pondicherry?

I am deciding whether to go to pondicherry or to tuticorin. Can anybody please suggest which place to go to. I have already been to pondicherry before. If there are good sightseeing options in tuticorin, i would certainly love to visit that place. If you'll coupld help me with the sightseeing places around, i would really appreciate it.
