Udaipur Experience: It has lots of palaces related sightseeing attached. The summer palace and the winter palace,the lake attached the boating experience for about 15 min and the night view of the lit palace and the lake palace,the Rajahs Crystal Museum and the Vintage car collection, all at a cost.

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: The restaurant near the Vintage car collection is good

Activities & things to do: all as above mentioned

"A visit to a city of maharajas"

Udaipur Experience: Visting udaipur as a tourist gave me immense pleasure. I visited udaipur with my family and had a great time over there. It is a nice and calm place. Spending the evenings on the banks of lake with your companion is awesome.

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: My favourite restuarant was hotel Natraj. The best place in udaipur to visit is the Lake Jaisamund-not to be missed

Activities & things to do: Hot air ballon ride

Udaipur Experience: City is very good and food is very fine. Location is excellent as always. Like the city, the people of the city are also very nice and speak well.

"Dev Villa Udaipur"

Udaipur Experience: Truly called Venice of the East. My favorite place in entire Rajasthan. Relatively clean and friendly people.

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: Beautiful Lakes, lovely Palaces and a great place to shop.

Activities & things to do: City Palace and Jagdish Temple + the Boat Ride are a must. Sunset from Sajjangarh is also interesting.

Udaipur Experience: Udaipur is an great destination its justly called the venice of the east and on top of that history and palaces on the banks of lake pichola make it a perrfect destionation

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: good destination for buying wooden articles and paintings.

Activities & things to do: Must visit city palace meuseum, boat ride at lake Pichola and princess garden.

"City with heritage"

Udaipur Experience: Amazing city. Nice heritage - the old buildings, their architecture is worth seeing. Lakes keep the city cool despite summer i.e. the breeze was not hot. Walking around in the small lanes near pichola lake is some fun.

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: Food in the restaurants we visited was very good. Also sweets were very tasty. Overall city is so beautiful, no wonder there are so many tourists here. Did not have a lot of time to do shopping.

Activities & things to do: Must watch city palace, pichola and fatesagar lakes, jagdish temple. Shilpgram is good to watch, but people in it will force you to buy their stuff on display. Sahelion ki bari, gulab bag are ok. Local dance at 'Bagod ki haveli' - is awesome - can't miss it. City palace - don't just plan 2 hours for it, plan 4 to 6 hours, everything is good to see and ticket is not cheap so worth spending that much time.

Travel tips, How to reach, travel warnings etc: From Mumbai - will recommend flight, although airport is far from the city (nearly 28Kms.) as train takes a long time. Best would be to do Abu and Udaipur together. From Abu you can reach in under 3 hrs as the roads are excellent and mostly empty.

Udaipur Experience: Udaipur is a nice place to visit.You get the feel of Rajputana kingdom.The palaces and history is amazing.

Activities & things to do: Palaces are an attraction.For shopping bandhani suits are really cheap.It is a small city so 2 days are fin for that

Udaipur Experience: udaipur is a fantastic destination to visit for lakes hills and its serene beauty itself. i have visited all its excursion and taken the vast knowledge about its historical reviews. best time to visit between august to november.

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: City palace museum & sahelion ki badi is memorable

Activities & things to do: rope way on karni temple.

Udaipur Experience: Udaipur is very nice place to spend vacation known as city of lakes so many heritage properties are there.

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: For sight seeing we liked to go on Sajjangarh which is on a mount from where u can see real panoramic view of udaipur. Fatahsagar also a very nice point to see. Food are available everywhere very tasty.

Activities & things to do: Fatahsagar ki paal par jake baitho aur sab bhool jao.

Udaipur Experience: Uadipur isnice city , one can visit along with family oreven friends, i would suggest take your loves onces its must see place three palaces, inter lake water flow system is amazing engineering by Indian scientists. Jaganath temple.. Ek ling darshan, and Lot many shiva temples...

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: I feel food is good and especially All veggies can enjoy a lot, I have enjoyes the food

Activities & things to do: Trekking, lake side walking, Having delicious veg food

Udaipur Experience: the city of lakes was far better than any other holiday destination i have visited in india small town with good hospitality is what i would term it as.

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: most amazing gems are found in the city

Activities & things to do: city palace, mall, lakes makes the city more worth a visit.

Udaipur Experience: Very nice to stay in udaipur. i think it is much better in monsoon it is palaces city.

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: sight seeing is nice, near eklingaji temple is nice for DARSHAN.

Activities & things to do: sight seeing.

Udaipur Experience: The destination is quite approachable from delhi as the direct train service is availble and its just a overnight journey.

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: Sight-seeing are good with few fun activities. and best location in eveining to see is nehru park in fatehsagar lake

Activities & things to do: There are no such activities to do with in udaipur. Its a place to see old monuments and forts,mahal etc. Rope way was nice

"Holiday in city of lakes"

Udaipur Experience: Udaipur is a nice city for hertiage lovers and as a weekend getaway options from New Delhi. The City place is very exquisite with nice wall paintings and wall designs. The lake adjacent to the place is lovely, giving you a sense of peace. It is very serene surroundings with the garden and lake. The city also has good places for shopping traditional Rajasthani clothes and paintings. The downside, it is a small town with only limited activity. Not a place to spend more than 2-3 days.

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: View from top of karnimata mandir is not to be missed.

Activities & things to do: Boating on lake, ropeway ride and place tour

Udaipur Experience: Udaipur is a good city to visit during november to march. In udaipur, king has a very good collection of Vintage cars, if somebody wants to visit Udaipur must visit there and enjoye the Vintage car collection and have a lunch there. In the evening there was a small park for fun and boat rides.

Udaipur Experience: udaipur is a quite city. I found it similar to pune. Anybody who loves history will love being in udaipur.

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: Food wise udaipur has nothing great to offer. of course the traditional dal-baati was delicious - in fact rated better than jaipur. people more co operative. As for shopping udaipur is not great all shopping should be done @jaipur or abu. attractions - musuem / citypalace really beautiful. there is pichola lake where one can have a 20 min boat ride. a smaller lake in the city heart- sukhadia lake. sajjangarh fort is also worth visiting although it is a bit away from the city

Travel tips, How to reach, travel warnings etc: the auto is the cheapest and best means of transport. for sajjangarh fort one can take a six seater for hathi pol and another from hathi pol to sajjangarh fort- it will hardly cost rs 20 per person. while returning one can walk up to the auto stand -1km distance and travel the same way back. cause if you hire an full auto they charge exhorbitant- 250 one way.

Udaipur Experience: Udaipur is loaded with stunning architecture, including ancient and monumental palaces and some of the most fascinating temples in the country. The big attraction, however, is its positioning on Lake Pichola with its backdrop of mountains and sublime sunsets. It is not overdeveloped as is a character associated with many popular Indian centers and retains its cute old town area intact. Most of the action is located around the lake; especially on the western shore where the old town is. It is one of big temples, winding lanes and a long bazaar, while out in the lake is Jagniwas Island where one the city's top hotels and restaurants resides.

Udaipur Experience: Super city of museums and lakes.

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: When go Udaipur don't forget to take Dal Bati at Nataraj hotel ! Was superb !

Activities & things to do: Too visit better to hire guide.. but be careful to purchased things from the shop which guide suggest at commission of agent involves in it and it will be double of price then actual.

Travel tips, How to reach, travel warnings etc: From Gujarat.. you can go via Bus or via personal vehicle.

Udaipur Experience: nice place, there is so many place for visiting.. and 'city place' and 'jal mahal' are so nice historical place so udaipur is nice place n nice city, so my trip was awesome.

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: city place is so nice historical place, Rajasthani food was there it was so tasty food.. my experience was awesome about 'Rajasthani food'. rajasthani shopping shop was also great.

Activities & things to do: boating, rock climbing etc

Udaipur Experience: Udaipur is very good city to spent some time for holidays.

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: OLD FORTS -Kumbhalgarh Fort, Haldighati, Fateh Prakash Palace,The Lake Palace AND City Palace ETC.

Activities & things to do: Boat Rides, Princess Trails, Mountain Ridge.
