Udupi Experience: Udupi is one of the Holy places in Karnataka state. It is famous for Udupi Krishna Temple. It has got good variety of merchandise such as wooden articles, kitchen utensils and nice clothes as well.

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: Main Attraction is Udupi Krishna Temple. Malpe beach is nearby. It is a very good place to visit and enjoy. The shopping of articles mentioned above is really unique to Udupi. The fresh vegetables available in the market are another cool scene in Udupi. You can observe a number of COWS in the market and in the temple premises.

Udupi Experience: Udupi is the centre place to vist the places like shrungeri,murudeshwar,gokarna,horanadu,annapoorneshwari etc.

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: food is good,sight seeing is good from udupi to shrungeri,also sight seeing at shakleshwar is also good

"The Temple Town"

Udupi Experience: It's a pleasant and lovable place. A true home away from home! Sanctified Temples, State-of-art Hotels, shopping area for shopaholics.

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: Main attraction to this place would be the Shri Krishna Mutt. This blissful temple attracts thousands of devotees every year.

Activities & things to do: Being in a very approachable location, its easier to travel across the place. Many Temples, beaches, people who love to admire the beauty of nature would feel they are at the right place.

Travel tips, How to reach, travel warnings etc: Travelling in this town is very easy. Less traffic!! for people irked with the city traffic would love to have a drive around this place. Reaching the town also is easy. Bus, train or your own vehicle can reach you there comfortably without much hassles.

Udupi Experience: Udupi Krishna temple from you can reach dharmasala,murdeswar,kollur mogambika

Udupi Experience: good place no much traffc and pollution, malpe beach is centre of attraction in udupi, overall its a very good place to visit for one or 2 days.

Udupi Experience: Udupi is good place to visit. We had nice Dharshan at Krishna temple and stayed for 2 days. We have good bus connectivity from Bangalore.

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: Very good Veg Restaurants near the bus stand. Also visited the Beach which is really good.

Activities & things to do: Shopping and visting nearby places

Udupi Experience: Great destination religious place with very interesting nice temples, malpe beach and st mary's island

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: Diana hotel gudbud icecream and cutlet

Activities & things to do: Temples, boating at malpe beach, spend good time on st mary's island

Travel tips, How to reach, travel warnings etc: By air until mangalore and by taxi from airport, by luxury buses ksrtc/private. Careful if driving own vehicle as very busy and accident prone highway

Udupi Experience: It is very natural and greenish.Travelling from one point to another is easy.

Udupi Experience: Malpe beach is a clean beach and you can really enjoy the place. there is a place called Thottam near malpe and you can really freak out in the pace. With coconut trees and a good breeze thottam beach is a paradise. one has to travel to St Mary's island by boat. Pack your water and food with you while visiting the island.

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: Restaurent at Udupi residency is excellent. enjoy punjabi & kebabs here. Visit hotel Shambhavi near Santhekatte(5 kms from Udupi on Kundapur road). Enjoy variety of fresh fish(squids, Crab, shell fish, oyster fish, prawns)

Udupi Experience: Good place to enjoy Arabian sea especially during rain. Less crowded and hence perfect location for a vacation.

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: Food was not so great typical Karnataka style food every where.

Activities & things to do: Temples, beach and island visit.

Udupi Experience: The destination is good for visitors and the panoramic view of the beach steals the show. Near-by places of visit are in easy reach.

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: Food served at the hotel was good. Sight seeing is the main feature and satisfies.

"Holiday destination"

Udupi Experience: The place Udupi is a temple town with very good beaches around. Staying there made all the difference.

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: Being a vegetarian did not had much of a choice. Went there to relax so I could not do any shopping.

Activities & things to do: You can move around on your own. Morning stroll in beach is very nice.

Udupi Experience: Island now a days is not clean, which used to be very clean, while Beach is clean

Udupi Experience: Has good hotel with very nice food, we enjoyed the different types of dosa and specially masala dosa.

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: Manipal, malpe, st.marys island, manipal dead end.

Activities & things to do: Motar boat ride in malpe beach

Udupi Experience: Udupi is a good pilgrimage center Temple of lord Krishna and surrounding 8 maths are nice places to visit. Udupi has nice beaches near by such as Malpe, Marwante etc One can really enjoy as beaches are clean The boat ride at Malpe beach is enjoyable

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: Udupi restaurants are famous not only in INDIA but also other part of the world You get good stuff at Woodlands restaurant both south Indian as well as North Indian The prices are very reasonable.

Activities & things to do: Visit Temple, go to beaches and shop not only near temple but also near by shops

Travel tips, How to reach, travel warnings etc: Well one can reach UDUPI by train from Mumbai If one is planning to visit Mangalore first then one can travel by road also from Mangalore it is just 40 km Plenty of buses ply between these two centers

Udupi Experience: Good food (Go to Mitra Samaja near Sri Krishna temple), nice temples, good beaches

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: Go to Mitra Samaja near Sri Krishna temple: we never a better morning breakfast: Kesari Bath and Upma, awesome!!!

Activities & things to do: Go to Kaup Beach and see the light-house

Udupi Experience: Went to para sailing in beach. Beach exp was gud. Temple was good.

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: There are lot of temples to visit.

Activities & things to do: Nothing to tell. Para sailing was a mind blowing experience.

Travel tips, How to reach, travel warnings etc: Ksrtc buses are running between udupi and bangalore. Kundapura, mangalore route.

Udupi Experience: Udupi has a couple of long, serene beaches which I enjoyed going to. Those who love beaches, this is a place to be. A lighthouse on one of the beaches is a major attraction. The rocks around the light house offer a nice place to sit, relax and enjoy the sea. The Malpe beach I visited had few visitors, but the other ones were quiet and serene with only the sound of the waves filling the air.

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: Food was not so great in most of the hotels/restaurants I visited, I have to admit, but did eventually find a restaurant near the city bus center which served palatable food. I have no doubt there are good restaurants, but one has to do some 'going around' before one finds a good place to eat. The beaches in Udupi are a must see.

Udupi Experience: Good , need some more improvement and looks to be more attractive with sourding

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: Food is excellent and need room services improvement

Activities & things to do: activity is Lord Krishna temple and St.Mary's Island

Travel tips, How to reach, travel warnings etc: Better to travel in train which will have beautiful side seeing , Roads are worst always travel in public busses.
