Varanasi Experience: It is a place for pilgrimage. Besides this music centres available where foreigners are coming and learing music for weeks/months. Adi shankaracharya guest house even though away from temple location and ganga river, accommodation wise it is good .

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: Since autoricksaw and various public busses available, for sight seeing and various shopping it is very very good.

Activities & things to do: it is a place for pilgrimage. besides this music centres available where foreigners are coming and learing music for weeks/months.

Travel tips, How to reach, travel warnings etc: During peak period , it is advisable to make travel arrangements before hand with accommodation booking to avoid unnecessary problems

"DEVOTION and MOTIVATION"

Varanasi Experience: Am a frequent traveller.( job hazard / perk). I was in banaras recently. I go there often but this was the first time i was lucky to get darshan of kashi vishwanath. I saw people from almost every part of india at the shrine. The reason i am writing this : 1) the attitude of the officials, the police was bad the police do not have manner. 2) i found shops inside the shrine ( sad) 3) but the devotion of the people out there made my trip. I saw people from all walks of life at 7am at the shrine ( even foreigners). What message are we trying to give all these people. Please do not come again The administration is minting crores but.. I was surprised that the rss or the vhp are not interested in bringing / giving some respect to the people coming here or even to the abode. Or should we assume they are politicians first. But the crowd out there will keep me motivated to visit the shrine again and again.. Hopefully something will change for the good or for all us common people it will be as always 'Raam bharosey'

Varanasi Experience: varanasi is good place for find peace .

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: food is good and cheap and lassi and poori sabzi is too good. And see arti of river ganga in boat is too good and peaceful

Activities & things to do: to see birla mandir , sankat mochan mandir, viswanath temple , anapurna mata mandir.

Travel tips, How to reach, travel warnings etc: after reaching at railway station of varanasi take the tempo or car from out side the railway station.

Varanasi Experience: It was pleasure to stay in Varanasi. Whether you are young or old. Both enjoy the same Even the people so helpful. You fell to stay for along. The schene of Ghat in Varanasi is amazing. the food of Varanasi and Famous Banarasi Paan W ooh Delicious . What we can say is very few . come and feel with your experience.

Varanasi Experience: we came to view Allahabad's spiritual bath on riverside we had a good time there from Varanasi to Allahabad by our private vehicles.. The sacred Sangam is the confluence of three of the holiest rivers in Hindu mythology - Ganga, Yamuna and the mythical Saraswati

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: Mankameshwar Temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva. Allahabad Fort, commissioned by Emperor Akbar in 1583.Asian Crafts and Bhuali Crafts are the places to buy handicraft items and souvenirs.

Activities & things to do: Shopping in Allahabad can be fun and exciting, as there are several options to choose from including brass idols, mythological books, exquisite jewellery, brassware, ethnic wear, antique pieces and rare artefacts.

Varanasi Experience: Varanasi is world's most ancient city'Dasashvamedha Ghat is biggest attraction of varanasi.you can enjoy evening aarti at ghat which is heavenly experience. Other destinations are Vishwanath temple, Sankat mochan and Sarnath.

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: Varanasi is really such place where u can find cosmopolitan culture in real terms.u can enjoy south Indian food,u can enjoy 'rabri',lassi.in morning u can enjoy'kachouri sabji.u can also purchase'Banarasi saree' from Varanasi.

Activities & things to do: Have a boat ride of river Ganga.

Varanasi Experience: The most sacred pilgrim for the Hindus. The oldest city of India and second oldest in world. The ghats of Varanasi on the Ganga are the uniqueness of this place.

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: All the street corners have kiosks selling different delicacies. Wooden toys, pan masala and sweets are the specialty of the city.

Activities & things to do: Offering worship at the the temples and boating in Ganga

Varanasi Experience: It is one of the nice place to visit. Spiritual & Holy place. Sarnath Temple was worth seeing.

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: Banarsi pan & banarsi Saree are the main attractions of the place.

Activities & things to do: Ganga snan & different foods to eat like Kachauri-Sabji which was the tastiest.

Travel tips, How to reach, travel warnings etc: It will be better if you go by your own vehicle if you live within 300 KM from the place alternatively you can hire a taxi which will make your trip more convenient.

"Banaras an ancient indian city"

Varanasi Experience: A religious place of importance for Hindus. It is like Mecca for Muslims. An ancient historical city.

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: Sarnath one of the famous stupa and of importance to Buddhists. Lassi (sweetened yoghurt) and various North-indian cusines and cotton clothings.

Activities & things to do: Arathi at dusk along the river banks of Ganges is worth watching and soothing.

Varanasi Experience: Good place on the bank of Ganga. Walking besides Ganga's ghat is very interesting. Boat riding over Ganga at evening is very exciting & ARATI darsan at Daswasamedh ghat from boat is very beautiful mental peacefulness.

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: Uncle restaurant is nice for bengali foods.

Activities & things to do: Tour & Photography

Varanasi Experience: Its Haven on the earth, very nice sunrise in the ganges, Ganga arathi was very beautiful and enjoyable. Temple atmosphere is very good, feeling like staying with god.

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: Very Very good normal street side hotels are also very good taste, Kachori, Rabadi and samosa was enjoyeable. Sarees are very very cheap, ranges will start from Rs 250 to 25000. Saranath also is one of the best places to buy sarees.

Activities & things to do: Just do good things which you like

Varanasi Experience: Varanasi is a great place to visit , better part is crossing over the ganges in boat to other side and have a view of the city Enjoy market visits , food , temples , especially if you are fond of indian dresses market is great

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: Street food is ok , go on to mirzapur by road and from there to rewa further to mihar and to jabalpur great road travel experience

Varanasi Experience: Enjoying going to varanasi, love to visit kashi temple and all other temple, love to drink thandi

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: Easy, accessible and convenient

Activities & things to do: Dip in holy ganga and sitting on the boat at the shore.

Travel tips, How to reach, travel warnings etc: In cold, please carry warm cloth properly and hot please drink water. to reach varanasi you have flight, but the airport is 22km away from city and by train is enjoyable

Varanasi Experience: Varanasi is full of people and temples. Best places to visit are Ghat, Sarnath, Shiv temple. Worst thing traffic, it may take an hour to pass 1 km.

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: Must eat chaat near to Ghats.

Activities & things to do: Good for just two days visit.

Travel tips, How to reach, travel warnings etc: You can reach by train from delhi or any other place. Beware of thugs and advance book return ticket an confirm it as it is a tourist place.

"Purity of the place matters"

Varanasi Experience: Varanasi in itself is a very pious destination and the food variety is amazing but the crowded streets with two wheelers everywhere zipping here and there can be a real turn off.

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: Religiously a very good place to be. Must visit for Kashi Vishwanath Temple, Kaal Bhairo Temple, Sankat Mochan Temple, Ganga Ghat, Durga Mata Temples. This is a place where it is said that if you bath in the GANGES then all your sins get washed away and it is very much true. The air is very pious but the same cannot be said of the people so one has to watch out for them all the time. Otherwise, must visit place.

Activities & things to do: Must visit the GANGA AARTI ( PRAYER) at sunset everyday. It is amazing. Must visit all the temples. Otherwise nothing much to see except for Banarsi Sarees etc.

Travel tips, How to reach, travel warnings etc: Best way to reach is by AIR or by TRAIN. You will hardly find any seats on the train so by AIR becomes the most practical option.

Varanasi Experience: IP-Mall, IP Vijaya, JHV Mall at cantonment for shopping, Spice tadka at Lahurabir was good restaurant apart from this Bikanerwala at IP vijaya was also good. Dont miss the ganaga aarti at dashaswamedh ghat.

Varanasi Experience: Destination was good. stay at hotel surya was outstanding main thing was all ghats at varanasi should be seen and there historical background

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: Lassi and rabri and panmasala was great . also some sweet. sight -seeing for chunar , sarnath and raj a bari was nice . shopping of silk saree and bed cover should not miss.

Activities & things to do: Boating at ganga and should watch evening arti.
