eventhough it is a little away from the bustling forest ranges in kaziranga still it is place worth staying if you have your own vehicle.

Best Experience: the surroundings and the expanse of the resort is excellent particularly if you have kids along since there is so much of activity possible for kids in the resort itself.

Worst Experience: no really, however travelling from the resort to the the westeren and central ranges of kaziranga is tidious.

The setting is good. Cottages do give a flavor of bamboo huts of assam. But not well maintained! Linens were clean enough, but not the toilet and the floors. The geysers were not working properly. The seat and the covers of the toilet bowl was loose and had to fix it ourselves every time! They still to learn a lot about hospitality and the guests\' expectations. For eg., around 7 in the evening there was a knock on the door; will you believe - the watchman requests his mobile to be charged in our cottages! They resort is located near the beginning of the forest range. The \'real\' kaziranga is further 30 kms away!! They never tell us while you book it over the phone or when you check in. Never the less they have their own jeep and Elephant safari, and you do get to see animals. The safaris are likely (I need to check this point out) to be much more expensive than the govt run ones, which you do, for eg., if you get to stay in Aranya. The elephant safari lasted 2 hours which probably longer than what the govt. offers! so may be you get a little more here. Food is ok, very limited choices, and take an eternity to materialize! Coffee & Tea are from the wending machines! These are some \'not-so-great\' experiences we had. We visited a time early during the season, may be the services and maintenance would improve as the season picks ups.

Best Experience: The settings of the cottages and outside maintenance are good.
