excellent place to visit particularly in rainy season. ask for lake facing rooms.Rest rooms are pretty dull.service is pathetic but the location is beautiful.

Best Experience: The view from the room (lake facing) was the best. beautiful waterfalls nearby are a must to watch.

The MTDC resort in handardara is far from what you can call as a place of elegance. If you are looking for a well maintained & glamorous destination, you are at a wrong place. No doubt, it has a very appropriate location & large area to cover spacious accomodations, but the maintenance is very very poor. The food is just average if you are not very choosy, And if you are, then god bless you & your partner!!! The most promising thing is that unlike other resorts I stayed, they don\'t cheat you. If it\'s there, it\'s there. If it\'s not, it\'s not. The pricing is fixed, without any hidden charges and openly declared over their website. Good if you don\'t want any shocks at the end of your vacation.

Best Experience: The lake-side accomodation offered me early morning dew-drops and cool breeze over the lake. A very rare thing for a metropolitan!!!

Worst Experience: I had expected some rains & waterfalls. But the season was not on my side. Better luck next time.

The MTDC hotel in bhandardara is good and the view is breathtaking as it oversees a lake.It's quiet and peaceful with onlythe sound of nature.We had stayed in a cottage which had an extra living room and outdoor seating overlooking the lake.

Best Experience: If you wanna taste the local cuisine ask the locals to prepare your meal.not only is their meal home cooked which reminds you of mom's food but the experience is quite awesome compared to the restaurants.Eating hot chappatis in the winter overlooking the lake is a once in a lifetime experience

Worst Experience: All in all it was a good experience but it's strictly meant for the adventurous not people looking for a five star accomodation.

Normally i prefer MTDC hotels to stay whenever i decide to spend holidays with my family & my experience to stay at MTDC hotels is good since last year when i was spent my first holiday with my family.

Best Experience: When i was spent my first holiday at MTDC hotel last year at Malshej. Room condition as well as service & food quality at Malshej is really good.

Worst Experience: Current year when i am just spent my holiday with my family in last week. Their is a heavy rainfall at that time. And due to that rainwater entered in our room through door gap. I was try to inform MTDC office by inter calling telephone facility, but telephone was out of service. And no person was come to see once they allot me that room at the time of check in till my check out time.

overall experiance was good wheather was excellant. i visited in month of july.

Best Experience: the location is ideal to getaway from hustle of cities.

Worst Experience: would sincerly request to pls maintain the facilities in the resort.
