Over all experience with this hotel was good. Will always have good memory of Tamrind Gangto. A warm welcome on the first day, Late night food on the second day. When i say late night food its Just 10:PM in gangtok and the place is Out and might be in deep sleep. We have an habit to eating late in the nigt and finding good food is mearly next to impossible. Good rooms with all the mordern facilities.

We have an habit to eating late in the nigt and finding good food is mearly next to impossible. But the hotel was kind enough to organize food for us by waking up the chef at 11:00 PM

We were a family group of 9 persons who visited Sikkim and Darjeeling (7N / 8D). We were in Gangtok for 3N and had a very time. After landing at Bagdogra airport and travelling for almost 4 hrs. thru the bumby roads (upto Sikkim), Gangtok was very refreshing and very cool. All are bookings viz. hotels, sightseeing, transportation was done by Mr. Manoj Agarwal of Milestones Group of hotels - Sikkim The hotel is located 1-2 km away from the main market and hence is away from the vehicular crowd & traffic. Our stay in Tamarind was very comfortable. The rooms were neat, clean and spacious. Our rooms offered very good views of the valley and mountains. The service and food was good and so was the hotel staff.

Best Experience: 1.Tamarind is a pure Veg. hotel and the food is very good. 2.The rooms are spacious, neat and clean. Some of rooms offer great views.
