I travelled from Toronto to Delhi in different airline and from Delhi to Jammu in air india. I am a single lady and had baggage as per international travel allowance. When I asked for relaxation in check in baggage I was abused and treated very badly. The staff, including female staff was very rude and handled my baggage in rough manner. My new suitcase handles have broken and there are scratches all over the baggage. Worst travel experience ever. Not flying air india any more
Passengers made to wait unnecessarily without any information update on the delay, initially 10, mins, however, by the time we landed, it was late by 25mins . Do reconsider retraining staff to tone down, while they speak with customers, please !. These are my observations & experience and suggest you do take note of the same before, you loose more invaluable customers/clients to competitor's .
I decided to fly Air India after 2 years on this sector. It was the worst decision. I arrived at the airport an hour before my flight with my 72 year old mother. I had no check in luggage and had web checked in. I requested for an upgrade to business class which after 10 minutes of back and forth communication was approved and the lady behind the desk took my credit card and walked me over to the cashier counter. There the gentleman decided not to give the upgrade as it was less then 45 min to take off and we would not be able to give us food on the flight. I stated that I would give a written statement that I donít want food on the plane as my mom had sprained her ankle and seating comfort was more important. He stuck to his guns moved us to seat 17C from row 42 saying it has More leg room. I repeat my reheated and asked him to make an exception for her and I would sit in economy but no he had no interest in being kin. He also never bothered to tell us that a woman who is a large would be hugely uncomfortable in the squashed seats of AIR India exit row / first row. So we moved and sat in row 18 eventually . . The airline made us sit for an hour on the flight without proper information regarding the delay. There was no cooling. Hot air was blowing from the vents. Most of us were sweating bullets. Babies were screaming and crying. By the time we got water to drink. 45 minutes had passed. The staff could not care a ****. NEVER AGAIN. It is undoubtedly the worst airline to fly.
A just Typical Indian average airliner for average Indians! Why can't we expect some better services at affordable charges for average Indians! ( Mind IA is charging more than the other private players
Very poor experience with air india. We went airport 30 min before but air india staff was not available on seat. On one help us. Finally we meet air india staff after 10 min and they refuse to help us.
Indian airlines is spoiling name internationally, blankets which are used by incoming flight are folded back and kept on seat, totally unhygienic. Flush in toilets donít work, headphone jack having jamming problem. Poor food quality
Everything is good with Air India except the food quality. They served cheese sandwiches in snacks. These were bland and tasteless. Please benchmark what the competitors like Vistara and Jet are serving to the guests.
My very first flight was with Air India 'International' and I have nostalgic memories of the experience. My latest flight revived my pleasant memories. Same courteous behaviour from the staff. The same care for details Thank you Air India! Do not wind up your services! Please !!
