Flight delayed for almost two hours, one hour flight duration and got delayed two hours from departure. Typically like local town buses, they call people at the airport to board and keep shouting. Me and wife got two different seats, however I booked tickets together and on feedback at the check-in time, staff said arrogantly that thanks.
Air India is not less to any private operator on service. Good thing is the considering human value by providing free meals. Inside Cleanliness, comfort of seats are not good compare to private operator and that's government's responsibility to make it proper to fight with private competitors. Employees behavior and other thing like handling baggage, smooth check-in was very good.
Air India needs improvement. In 12 hrs flight amongst 3 leds only 1 was working. The snacks served were horrible, the role they served was dry and smelling. The remote for call bell etc was not working.
Aircraft was on ground for more than 1 hour and 45 minutes without any reconditioning and couple of traveler used oxygen cylinder to breath and many vomited due to extreme heat and lack of air, and without reconditioning system.
Seats were selected by make my trip app which was later disclosed that seats can only be requested and we got two different seats at different sections also when you ask for non veg you are forced to have a veg meal on the flight along with the legroom is pathetic felt like we are travelling in a bus . Will never travel by air india again
High time we pay attention to the aircraft cleanliness and noise. Rattling noise may not be pleasant to hear when at high altitude . . Food, I would suggest, stop it. No point of providing such quality and quantity of food. It's no meal at all. Better let the passenger buy food outside and bring it in aircraft OR you sell decent food to passengers.
I bought an economy ticket and while boarding got upgraded it to business class. It was a great surprise and a very enjoyable one. The service was good but I found the seats could have been more comfortable. Also, there wasn't variety of food. They served vegetarian dinner meal as the non-vegetarian food was limited and was chosen by the passengers before me. Oh! What an excuse. But overall the services were really good, given the lucky upgrade but there were lots of shuttering sounds, of the lavatory doors, windows, engine, etc ., across the journey. May be something to do with the MRO?
