My ticket was cancelled and I lost 21, 000 rupees (approx) which is the money that I made with my hard work. The reason for my ticket cancellation was that I didn't have Muscat visa or transit visa to land in Muscat and then go to Doha which was my final destination . I am not an experienced international flyer and was not aware of this requirement. MMT which I used to book my ticket didn't give me any information on this in a way that I could see during my ticket booking process / checkout. When contacted the customer support got a reply saying that since MMT is a booking agency information on Visa / immigration cannot be given . Worse was experience at airline check in counter where they showed no concern for my situation and was in a hurry to close the counter. I was crying inside to be in a situation wherein my money was looted in daylight by airline and MMT. It was visible in their attitude that they knew they did loot and I could do nothing about it . I will not ever book a ticket using MMT.
Air India service has run down the drain . The handrest between me and the pax next to me was broken . The food was served in paper boxes that are normally given to school children . Stale bread that supposedly had cheese in between the slices were so joined together with each other that it broke in half like a biscuit . Pathetic taste of food not worth the price . Am sure I'll bypass Air India going forth.
I book my ticket from makemytip and on ticket luggage weight was 30kg but on boarding time they charge 50 Ade extra evan my weight was 29. When I ask to that guy then his answer was ‘‘ mam you should go to agent for ticket booking’’ it means it I should not book ticket from makemytrip . And I pay 50 Ade extra for my 10kg luggage . Very poor experience of the check in procedure at DXB airport while returning. I am highly disappointed by the way it was handled by Air India Expess management. The flight was scheduled back at 6:00 p. M. & We were in queue exact at 4:00 p. But shockingly and pathetically we could check in at around 5:30 p. Approx. 1. 5 Hrs for checking inn procedure ( I missed duty free shopping on international departure, credit goes to "Air India Express" ). More funny is yet to come. When we went inside flight, we came to know that two of passengers were unbarred due to some reasons. The flight was still on wait for another 45 min. Because there luggage was to be traced and unloaded. I could have walked all the way back to Duty free for shopping and came back comfortably with my purchasing. One thing I must not forget, while journey to Dubai there was no any problem. However the return journey spoiled all impression. Anyways, this experience and my loss is of no concern to Air India Express, because they got all their ticket fair and they are least bothered about how important was my Duty free shopping for me.
Air india express considered to be a national airline, provided a rude and non humanitarian behaviour to me even I am an Indian, which does not allow me to travel saying I am unfit to travel because of my skin condition. I am having eczema for past 7 years, and have not gone through such an inhumanitarian behaviour from any of the airlines in my life. I am going through a big trauma of this incident.
Very old crumbling body of plane . I was seated at the wing and in midair when I looked out one of the cones at the wing was missing to my horror . Don't know whether it got flown off in midair or it was missing from the beginning . . And on the way back, both the landing and takeoff was the roughest I have ever experienced with the plane swaying from side to side as if the plane had engine problems . Was literally holding on to my life with crossed finger's altogether I got a feeling that they are trading the safety of the passengers in an attempt to make the flight low cost using old planes which is a big NO . Only upside is that they were providing free reasonably decent refreshments to the passengers which has to be really appreciated none of the other low or medium budget flights like indigo provide it .
Towards air India express, for late night or night flights please allow passengers to sleep. Don’t disturb with food supplies at 12pm or 2am timings. Please give the food and beverages in the launge itself. People will be happy and your flight luggage will be less. Make it economical by taking better decisions . . When the ticket charges are hiked, even for season timings, There should be a better service when you collect four times the normal fare.
We travelled from Vijayawada to Mumbai by IX213 on 01. 04. 2018 seat numbers 5a, 5b and 5c. The condition of seats in the flight were in bad condition. The cake pieces given were having fungas. Photos of the same attached. Even airhostesses/ service staff were not responsive to the complaint or for a request for a pillow . . I am an air India frequent flyer with number f161841 and might have used more than 100 times adirindi. Never seen such bad service.
