I chose this airline just because they keep up their timing promise and also their budget tickets. As others say, legroom is not less. It is more than enough for me, an average person to sleep well and the reclination is good too. I booked the flight from MAA to BKK for a return fare of a‚¹12, 500. 00. There are no in-flight entertainment and no complimentary food. But the cabin crew's service was courteous and the immigration help was done for some First time travellers too
Delay informed as 1hour. But stared after 2hoirs. Waste of time and sleepless night. Check-in baggage reached after 30mts of flight arrival. Purpose of flight against train journey to save time is defeated.
Indigo is a good airline of India. I shall rank it second after AirIndia. Some improvement especially removal of the tag of a "cheap airline" and charging for seat number up to 1 to 20 rows is not liked. It has good aeroplanes and infrastructure. Children and adults working are also professionally competent.
As a senior citizen we expect little more assistance from the staff of Indigo. However at the boarding counter even after doing web check in I have to wait for 25 mins to get a boarding pass also when asked for assistance to keep the luggage on the boarding belt I was told bluntly by the lady that they don't have staff to help me with this, at last a fellow passenger thought of helping me was genuinely appreciated. Please Indigo grow up.
Already arrived at airport 3 hours before but reached the flight before 5 min only, all because of staff intelligibility to take the passenger on priority whose flight's check in got started, whereas other flights staff are very active in this and for this also our total security check process took 2. 5 hour time.
When the seats are getting allotted, if the seats are near the emergency exit, which does not allow the tilting of the chairs, the customer must be given an option to choose, or he should be informed. He may not want to be in that seat.
