Everything about Indigo is good except the free checked in baggage allowance of 15 kgs. I feel it must be minimum 20 kilos. There are passengers who weigh 40 to 50 kilos more than me but you don't change anything extra from them whereas if my baggage increases even by 1 kg you start charging. Never in our wildest dreams did we thought that such a huge air service provider will care to know our personal honeymoon travel trip but to our utter surprise they care !! I have had good service from MMT but have something to say for the concerned airline. Ticket pricing by the airline was extremely high (almost 6 times the regular fares) that too without any add-ons e. G. Seat choice and meals etc. We had to travel suddenly due to a death in family there was no choice but to take whatever was available option. But the whole deal seemed atrocious and unfair. The airline must reflect on what kind of perception they are building amongst customers in such situations !!
One of the worst customer treatment by Indigo airlines staff. On arriving at the gate at 6:30 am for a 6:45 am flight, we were denied entry saying that the next flight to Mumbai is only available. Trusting the staff with two senior citizens by my side, I chose to listen to their alternative plan. We were removed from the Gates and sent back outside to the Indigo counter, where we were told no tickets were available on the flights to Mumbai on the same day. And we were forced to book for a later flight the next day (25th Nov, 2017) which cost us the entire amount again (around 9, 600Rs + tax for 3 adults). Reminder: we were not allowed to board the flight, with boarding passes in our hands, that too 15 minutes before departure. Not having the ability to enter an argument with old aged people, I chose to drop the issue on spot and hoped to take this up separately either through Makemytrip or Indigo Airlines itself. Would be very much appreciated if Makemytrip could offer a helping hand on this issue.
I have a very bad experience as one of your staff named Md. Masood misbehaved with me. He don't know how to talk to passengers. Also he argued with me and made my journey very bad. Also the behaviour of your Air-hostess was very rude. Kindly teach them to be firm and polite with customers
This is the second time the lock of my baggage was broken forcefully. Same happened last time also when I came to Kolkata in Indigo. I am sure that lock breaking process happened after I landed in Kolkata because when last time also when I reached Bangalore my baggage lock was intact. In simple words these guys will rob you if you are carrying valuable items in your baggage .. I travelled with Spicejet few times but never had bad experience like this .. I am not saying that I had any issues with the aircraft .. It's just the people who handle our baggage .. And knowing the same thing Indigo is also not taking any action against these baggage handlers. Indigo knows this because after people land I see many people complaining about this but Indigo simply don't **** care ..
My old age mother travelled alone on Indigo flight. The staff at airport while boarding took excellent care of hers. Wheelchair assistance was provided immediately as soon as we reached airport. During check-in, she was assured by one of the front desk staff to not worry about anything. The chat the front desk lady had with my mother during check-in took away all her apprehensions. She was very happy during the journey.
The experience was pathetic. I was travelling with my 2 kids aged 4 years and 2 yrs. At Bagdogra airport, there was no staff to support with luggage. I had to carry my own luggage despite asking for assistance. The ground staff were unable to provide one. At Kolkata airport the ground staff was real rude. They nor even bothered to help and assist seeing my state and condition. They had not provided any attendant to carry luggage and assist. Would not be flying with #6E anymore.
The staff was very helpful, I had misplaced my bag but the staff was very supportive. They went around to search and brought me my luggage within agreed time. Would like to take this opportunity to say thank to all the crew for making it possible. Flight details 6E 464.
