Air hostess are speaking only in English, Hindi, Marathi & Nepali. They don't know tamil. I saw many families who only knows tamil in flight and they were unable to understand the instructions given by air hostess. Flight is from Chennai to Madurai. Please if possible make the instructions said in tamil also to help others.
The boarding gatas are closed 35 minutes prior to the departure . I made a web check-in and finished security check at 1. 30 pm and was having food . Without any intimation they closed the boarding gate . So I have to come out of the airport and has to travel by road . This is the worst ever experience for me and my family. We were not allowed to board the flight despite reaching airport at 0800 and the flight take off timing is 0835 . . I'm a huge fan of your airline but your staff non responsiveness to acknowledge the situation of mine really disappointed me. I had to book another flight in the evening and pay double price. The check in process for Indigo at tier 2 airports is highly inconvenient. Sometimes after you stand in line for 45 mins they tell you that a particular bag need to be checked in because it is 1 kg more than their limit and can't be hand carried. So now you've to again stand in two queues - first for security check and then for checking in. Not cool at all They could do the luggage weight check before the security check for entire luggage.
One of the best flight experiences I have ever had in last couple of months. I loved the hospitality and the food / beverage section as the options that are available are better than that of offered in any other airline. I might take Indigo more often, I guess.
There should be a rule for strictly no mobil phones once boarded . Sic of people rampantly using cell phones till the aircraft takes off . Infact silent jammers can be installed so no one can crib about the cell phone usage
I did a web check in to avoid delays at airport. There was no separate line for the people who did web check in and they have to use the same queue as others to declare baggage. It got late there. Security check in at Hyderabad International Airport is a night mate. Ques are long and slow. The over all result is I missed my flight To Goa. Your managers are rude at gate. Thank you for being pathetic Indigo. Never fly Indigo again.
IndiGo: Dear IndiGo Customer, flight 6E-866 from HYD shall be boarding from gate 103. Boarding gate closes 25 mins prior to the departure time. Since this is a silent airport, no boarding announcements will be made. Wish you a pleasant flight. This was the message given to us on the day of departure, because of which we were confused. Even though we reached the Airport at 2. 30 pm we went to KFC in the Airport instead of checking in. 35 minutes prior we entered the Airport, but they said boarding counter is just closed . No body has helped in the Indigo Counters. Finally though we were inside by 35 minutes prior we were forced to take next flight and has to pay 4000 rupees extra. We have to wait in the Airport till 10. 30 pm for next flight . Because of the confusion created by that message we have to face the punishment . Indigo staff should react to the matter and atleast refund our money.
