Jet Airways is an airline owned by Naresh Goyal. It is the second largest Indian airline based in the commercial capital of India, Mumbai. Ms. Leena was extremely rude and unprofessional. I expect basic courtesy of not respect. You are not doing us a favour flying is, we’re doing you a favour flying with you. At least talk to your passengers with respect. The minimum expectation. The other airlines are way ahead of you in terms of th experience they deliver to their customers. Good luck to you guys!
On my departure from Bangalore, I was told at the airport that I was moved to Cathay because of ATC issues in Mumbai. Jet staff was extremely insensitive. 1. I was not informed of this before, so I reached the airport at 20:00 for a 22:30 flight. I had left Home at 19:00 for this 2. Cathay was scheduled at 01:30 hrs. 3. I was to wait at the terminal for 6 hrs and 30 mins! 4. I asked to be provided a meal coupon since I had a long day at work and come directly to the airport. 5. Jet staff told me that they were not authorised to do this. Well, I did not authorise them to change my flight! 6. Finally, I was given access to the lounge at 21:00 hrs after I demanded it. The person in charge was rude and behaved like he did me a huge favour. Terrible attitude!
Extremely disappointed with the delay. I have been facing this issue very often. 2 hrs delay is criminal. I paid extra to fly 1. 30 hrs early and then realised that the later scheduled flight was on time.
All I want to say that, the girl name "aditi" from cabin crew is the only reason me comin bck to jet airways .. Aditi what you do is the best .. I will travel soon Please convey this message that a differently ab led passenger (she would understand) has left a thank you note for the tea she made .. No complains from others they met expectation but she exceeded with that one tea ... We all write emails when we want to complaint ,, but I belong to the same industry where little efforts can make some one's day and we should appericiate it, that's what iam doin ... My experience very briefly as I do not have the time to describe it at length: I was conveyed by a text message that the flight which was to depart at 5:30PM would depart at 6PM. After reaching the airport which I reached at around 4PM+. It was displayed that the flight will leave at 6:30PM. All the passengers were then kept in the dark even much after 6:30PM and the flight was then announced 8PM or so. If my memory serves me right, it then actually took to air quite close to 9PM. I reached home at 1AM Sunday morning. I am pretty sure that these are not some last minute issues as this was not due to technical problem with the aircraft. Why can't they be more professional and indeed more honest. JetAirways totally messed this up and this is not the first time this has happened. I am not sure why they do this. Is it to cut corners? What is the difference between Jet and other cheap airlines then? Finally: Did they give us any extra miles or any gift coupons the offset the unpleasant-ness of the experience. None?
The status of my flight was not being displayed on the on the screens as a result of which I kept waiting in the waiting area and the flight left without me even though I was at the airport well in time (have ample evidence of the same). The staff refused to accept that the display was not working and that they called out my name. Incidentally, the reason I was so fixated on the display board is because there are boards in the airport that ?? That IGI is a silent airport and announcements will not be made. Subsequently, I was made to pay INR 2100. 00 to be put on the next flight. While waiting for the next flight I was very cautious, not wanting to miss that too. What I observed was that the display was again not working and then finally when it did start working, it was displaying incorrect information. The pictures uploaded by me will show you the time stamp at the bottom right of the display screen. The screen itself shows (or does not show) the status of all Jet Airways flights. You will notice that the status of other airline flights is on the display. Finally, it shows my second flight departed before its scheduled time whereas myself along with other passengers were still in the departure area.
The aircraft was very old and poorly maintained. The old aircraft had uncomfortable leg room and tacky interior which was soiled around edges. Jet screens didn’t work and kept flickering. If it had been maintained well it would have been a great experience. Food was just OK nothing as compared to what was served previously.
Web check in you charge for window and aile seat, but later the window seats were empty not allotted to any one. This is really annoying. My seat was 27B, 27A was empty. I had to select 28B for my business partner.
