As usual the Web check in facility proved to be useless. I feel you muct make it more user friendly. Flight was delayed by about one hour. But it was made up. Waiting near the gate is a big bore. Once in the aircraft you have no boredom
Horrible style of doing the business, I was no 38 in queue to check in (online check in sequence) and they were showing all seats full. Only two seats available . . I hope Govt come out with some rules to take care of these unscruplous.
Managers and all working at Chennai Airport all are worst persons I have ever seen they have stopped 10 persons check in without giving any prior information or last call. They have not given any compensation for that also . Worst situation I faced because of jet airways . Flight was at 6:30 and they are forcing to go for next flight at 5:50 without departing that flight . And charging 20k extra for same flight totally overbooking thay are doing and troubling passangers
Though all airlines propagate web check in, the truth is almost all the seats are paid seats. I do not know why nobody is complaining. Though I hold a jet platinum card, I too was charged for a window seat of my preference. The seat charges are as high as Rs. 1200 plus. The space between the seats also are kept to a minimum, and comfort is only a slogan every airline makes. Spice jet has the least space comparatively. Air India is better, then their routes and probability of cancellation also is the highest.
This was my worst experience in my entire flight travels. The jet airways staff a lady almost ruined my journey and instead of helping me out shouted aND abused me as I was a bit late for boarding. The staff made me enter the immigration gate then made me come out with exit formalities in passport when there was only 15 mins to board the flight. Also she made me abandon my hand carry luggage mentioning the size was bit bigger. Lucky the flight was 30mins late. After boarding saw passenger with even bigger bags in the flight cabin. Please request for a through investigation of this issue by the airline.
I left home in Indore at 3. 00 am to reach airport by 4. 00 am to take 6. 00 am flight to Mumbai. So just got up had Bath dressed up and left thinking will get snacks on board. But to surprise on board was given a very dry Dal kachori (which was very hard, rubber type, could not be bitten), a kit kat chocolate and water bottle. No tea / coffee nothing. If this is the snacks you provide to paxs, I think nobody will fly with you again. And stop writing FREE MEALS / SNACKS. If this is the type of snacks you giving. Pax leave home early morning to take flight and expect a tea/coffee and some snacks. PLEASE IMPROVE UPON. Don't SAY SHORT ROUTE ETC.
Passengers were made walk in scorching heat to board the flight, the child meal was bland boiled potato sandwich with a candy. Food was not poor. Flight was prepped from 1800 hrs to 1425 HRS that ruined my whole trip schedule.
